    Screws were fine. The drive bit included w/ the screws could be tougher and about twice as long. Bit seems to wear long before 25#'s of screws have been driven.

    My go to screw.
    I always say, I am only as good as my tools. Given the right tools, I can pull off just about any project and I consider these screws to one of the essentials. In 2007 when I built my first deck, I had trouble with the screws snapping as the boards dried and started to strain against the fasteners. They must have worked out the problem since then because when I took a part a deck built in 2009 using Deckmate screws, I was able to reuse every one of the old screws on the new deck I built. Even though they had been in the elements for 5 years, not a single screw was rusted. Deckmate rocks.
