I am very happy with this chimney cap! It is a very well made and solid cap. Prepped my chimney by trimming existing flue to one and a half inches above the cement topping on the chimney, it fit perfectly! Tightened the bolts snugly and even added a bead of caulking around base to finish it off. I can see why they call it the "Forever Cap" because I am sure I will never have to worry about replacing it again!

Nice but description is wrong.
The 17x17 model didn't have welded nuts as described nor can it be secured to 16" or less without buying longer screws. That being said it looks great, seems sturdy enough, longer screws are fairly cheap, so I would still purchase again.
