This water jug is designed for storing and dispensing beverages, primarily focusing on insulation and leak prevention. It does not have any features specifically designed for radiation protection.
This water cooler is designed for cold beverages and is not recommended for hot liquids. Using hot liquids may warp or crack the inner liner.
These are not meant for hot food. I have a group that feeds the homeless and carries grits and scrambled eggs in them, and it will warp/crack the inside. I hope that answers your question.
I use it for brewing beer as a temp controlled mash tun. I am able to hold a constant 155 degrees for @ 1 hour, but haven't gone further with it. A downside is if you put very hot water into the Gotte, it will warp and eventually crack the inner liner. This happened to me when I put 185 degree water into it.
I don't know as I just bought the cooler so I can brine my turkey in it. I would check Igloo website that may have a list of vendors.
