Horrible Run Around
Filed a claim on a $67 carpet that's unraveling after 2 months. Easy, right? NOPE. Been getting the run around for weeks. First it's approved, then it's not. Then I call repeatedly and send more detailed receipt because they saw a return on the online order for a different item. Ok, they see the mistake on their part and will send me a call tag. Never comes via email, call back again. Will try to send again. Never get it. "Oh that's funny we've sent it a few times!" I ask what the name of the sender is under the email so I can search for it again, as it's not in my inbox nor spam folder. No answer. Is this worth a $12 to warranty my $67 high traffic 4x4 rug? NEVER AGAIN. Every time I call there is a terrible loop to get through the system with a gazillion questions, data entered is not transferred over to the agent anyway which I need to repeat, and most times the call drops when it's supposed to be transferred. What a nightmare. I cringe thinking about how I need to follow up again for the 5th, 6th, 7th time with this company. I am currently on hold and it's at the 13 minute mark. Emailing them is a joke also. They never reach out to you, you have to remember to follow up with them over and over. I've already ordered my replacement instead of waiting for my gift card because this is beyond ridiculous. I have a carpet sitting here waiting for a call tag as well. I would NEVER purchase a warranty again through Home Depot. I have purchased appliance warranties that I've had to use through the blue competitor and it's easy breezy. I will make sure not to purchase anything big ticket from here that I would want warrantied because their warranty service division is horrible.

It is too early to tell if the 2 year...
It is too early to tell if the 2 year protection plan will meet our expectations. Ask the question in 18 months and we will be able to give a more definitive response.
