    Answer This Question

A:  32ECT is the same rating used by Amazon. It is mostly recycled corrugated but with proper dunnage (packing) you can ship with this type of carton. Be sure to cover the hand holes with tape. You don't want anyone picking up the carton using those enroute.

      A:  Yes they can!

        Answer This Question

A:  Hello Luis, Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. This box has an ECT 32 rating and can withstand an edge crush force of up to 32 pounds per inch. Corrugated fiberboard, a type of material composed of a fluted layer sandwiched between two flat linerboard layers, is the material used to make ECT boxes. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.

They are only good if using a truck/car for transport. I shipped these and the boxes came split and opened.

MUST use Special Tape - Brown Scotch Box Tape
Sturdy boxes. Packed about 15 of them before realizing that the Scotch Heavy Duty clear and Scotch Strapping tape were both not staying stuck to the boxes. It has to do with the 100% recycled material texture. Tape starts to peel off after a while. Rather than having a moving disaster where all the boxes would come apart, I researched that the Scotch Box Lock Paper Packing Tape, Kraft Brown (NOT the one you need to wet) works best on these boxes and says so in the product description.

Could be a little taller. Have to be careful because the wood distorts if wet. Sturdy and attractive

nice boxes, well made, one damaged
These are nice strong boxes. Large but not so big you cannot handle them. Only issue was one of the outside boxes on the pack was damaged. I think it’ll still be usable.

They're not very stackable, and cannot handle very much weight. I used them for moving cross country and the majority of them ended up crushed. The most they can handle is clothes and light weight items that are well wrapped.

Boxes arrived damaged- not unusable but holes that have to be repaired for use. I have pictures.

HD Ships the Bundles Without Encasing in Plastic
Received a half dozen bundles of ten. Home Depot ships the bundles without encasing them in plastic like FedEx & UPS do with their shipping supplies. The bottom cardboard flaps all arrived soggy such that the corrugated flutes were no longer rigid. Unrelated to that, three of the boxes had their flaps partially ripped off as pictured. Do better Home Depot. Lame.

Ordered 30 units but only 10 were delivered. It appeara that 20 were removed or fell out prior to being delivered

                  Extra Large Packing Boxes
Today April 30 I picked up a 10-pack of Extra Large Boxes. When I got them home, I found out they were unuseable. They had been cut wrong. I called and spoke to Inez manager on duty and explained to her I wasn’t physically able to bring the 10-pack of boxes back, I’m 70 years old. She explained store policy and made arrangements to replace the boxes. She went above and beyond. Customer service at its best.
