It may work O.K. for that. I have had 3 of the buckets filled with soil & lids on them stacked on each other for several months in my shed with no problems.
If by bulletproof you are talking about my official Red Ryder carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time. Yes it can keep you from shooting your eye out.
Yes, as the community has mentioned, if you install them properly and make sure they are on tight, you should be okay. If you want to easily reseal the lids for additional travel, you might consider the screw-top lid (Internet #303808738). Drive safely and have fun!
Yes you can
No, they will be too big for a 2-gallon bucket. The only lid we supply to Home Depot for the 2-gallon bucket is: Internet #202264036; ; Model # 210655; Store SKU #150680 (white lid).
It can be if you need to wash it up.
Yes it does I have used these lids on various brewing 7 gal and 5 gal buckets.
I pulled the tab and that caused a strip to peel away all around the lid but did not separate the lid from the bucket. I have been mangling the lid with a screwdriver but I cant get it off
Yes they are reusable.
