The correct answer is YES! No need to cross out logos, barcodes, or outline your label. Treat the boxes from Home Depot as if they were blank. As long as you have a proper shipping label with the correct addresses and weights and dimensions and the label and the package is taped and secured properly with the label affixed to the top you will have no issues. I have used these boxes and the other sizes to ship what is approaching 10,000 packages through the years without 1 issue due to the box. This includes USPS, UPS & FedEX. The boxes are great quality and price if you are buying your boxes retail.

If you have this issue look where the box is glued together. If you see that there is a gap on top and bottom of the folded glued tab this is a defect. The tab should fold and glue so that the corner has no gap. This gap causes the box top not be square and then your flaps will not line up when put together. If you take strapping tape around the box at the top and bottom after pressing that corner square you can use box just fine to ship anything that is not heavy. This will happen in very Few Home Depot boxes my guess based on using these boxes a lot would be like 1 in 100 boxes.

Ive had no issues with tape sticking. Even after being in a storage unit for a month take was still in tact when boxes were retrieved.

Whole, or in pieces?

The cardboard is not that thick so the interior and exterior dimensions are probably within 1/8 of an inch difference. Yes it has to be taped together.

The heavy-Duty box is great for heavier items. If you packing plates or glass it would be best to wrap the item in newspaper or bubble warp. You can also use old Christmas wrapping paper; just be sure to wrap with the printed side out so the color doesn't transfer onto the item.

USPS size limit is 108" which is measured as [(Wx2) + (Lx2) + H]. Exceeding this limit triggers a $80 Oversize handling fee. This box had measured W=22", L=22.5" which is considered 23" rounding up, H=22" at the post office. Total was 112". The HD website measures it to be 110" after rounding up. The box has a diagram which indicates its size is 22x22x21 which could be misleading to customers since it is not true per USPS measurements but also still exceeds USPS size limit as 109". The USPS weight limit is 70 pounds. So the answer is it could be USPS shipped but would trigger an oversize handing fee $80 and if shipping overseas it would require boat mail.

Used one of these to ship an expensive laptop to my son in the Navy along with a back pack and assorted accessories. This is a VERY STRONG BOX!.
