(I do not use this size, )I use smaller (18X18, 18X24 etc.) HD moving boxes to ship my Etsy orders. I sell glass bottles and ship nationwide. The post office and UPS have n o problem accepting these boxes. I do not have any issues with breakage of bottles. Yes, ship item in HD boxes!!!
yes it can
that depends who you are. Handles on either side of 24" box. Me, I need a second person on the other side. But a big strong guy probably easy
Yes, flattened and bundled with the hanging bar at one end.
If you mean protected from mice and insects NO! The "handles" are holes in the sides. So for storage you need to tape them over, as well as the unsealed edges, just like any of your boxes. IMHO you also need moth balls and insect repellant before storing in the cheapo outdoor storage spaces.
This box is just a little thicker than average boxes.
Yes, it will.
The weight capacity varies with the quality and strength of tape used in assembly. Using the fibrous strapping tape I filled ours to the point where we could not lift it but only move it with a hand truck. I bought a second one to make it more manageable. If you're only moving wardrobe items and tape it well you will fill it before you reach a weight capacity,
Yes, we're using them for that. However, keep in mind that with the metal bar across the top, it's not fully sealed (there's a small gap). If you want the box fully sealed to keep out bugs, etc. you'll want to account for that.
