The new Murphy Pantry Door is meant to beautify and dramatically offer more storage in your kitchen. Lose the out-of-place panel door, and extend matching kitchen cabinetry into right into your doorway. The Forward-Facing Pantry Door differs from the Pantry Door by displaying the cabinetry and spice racks on the front of the door, rather than on the back. It comes with 2 spice racks, a set of cabinet doors, 1 fixed shelf, and 3 adjustable shelves with options to add more. With 7 woods types and over 6 different finishes we can match almost any kitchen. The Murphy Pantry Door comes fully assembled, ready for installation; and will quickly become the main conversation piece of any kitchen.

What type of wood?

AnswerAll of the doors are a combination of MDF as well as hardwood. In the case of the paint grade, the hardwood is a maple/poplar mix. Please reach out if you have any additional questions
Can the door be left open or does it automatically stay swing shut? Also is there a handle to open the door?

AnswerThis is a great question. As long as the door is hung square and level in the jamb, the door will stay in the open position. Just like the standard door in your house if it is not level or square, it can have the tendency to want to swing open or closed. So this will come down to a quality installation. The door will not come with a handle to open or close the door. But one could easily be added!
