The Dresser door comes standard with 4 fully functional, 8 in. deep drawers; and 2 extra storage shelves, that dramatically de-clutter your bedroom and your closet. With the flexibility to fit in almost any doorway, you can put 1 of these doors in every bedroom of the house. Everyone will love your new Murphy Dresser Door.
  • Unit includes: fully assembled dresser door, pre-hung in the jamb, with state-of-the-art ball bearing design for smooth operation, 4 drawers, (8 in. depth) 2 adjustable shelves, jamb, trim, hardware and instructions for installation (download the app BILT for most detailed set of instructions)
  • Murphy dresser door is 12 in. deep
  • In-swing doors will lose 6 in. of pass through and out-swing doors will lose 14 in. of pass through (to see pass through spaces on 12 in. doors, see chart), in-swing
  • Available sizes: 30 in., 32 in. and 36 in.
  • Comes unfinished or select from our 7 wood types and 6 different finish options
  • Must fasten to structural framing to secure properly, which requires installation; installation screws are included
  • Framing rough opening needs to be 2 in. larger than the door size (example: a standard 36 in. dresser door rough opening will need to be 38 in. x 82 in. ) for help on measuring for the right door size, see our video

However if install is not available in your area through Home Depot is because no local company has registered with us.

        Difficulty Cancelling
        Tried to cancel this item within 36 hours of ordering. Delivery date is still 3 weeks away. Item still processing and a tracking number not available yet. Home Depot rep is saying the item needs to be built and shipped before I can return

          Murphy door
          Door size is the inside of the frame/ jamb. The frame didn’t fit the doorway. Had to modify it instead of widening the doorway. Less work that way. Mounted only the top and bottom of the frame worked for me.
