AnswerWe highly recommend placing pavers under your fire pit no matter where you place it; patio, driveway, grass, etc. This will prevent the possibility of any permanent surface from getting damaged.
Can you use fire pit as a insert with brick or pavers around it ?

AnswerThis fire pit is really not designed to be surrounded by pavers. Part of the unique design is that air is able to flow between the walls and create a high efficiency burn. Putting pavers around it would restrict that airflow and change the operation of the unit. We would not recommend it.

Amazing function and style
Searched the internet for weeks on end looking for a fire pit that was extremely function and also conveyed a simple modern style. I finally came across the Blue Sky Peak. Home Depot had it on my front door in 4 days (ordered on a Sunday no less!). There was virtually no set up other than removing from the box. The first was roaring within 10 minutes of doing no more than tossing a wad of burning paper into a heavy load of (dry) wood. An hour in the fire was giving incredible heat and the “secondary burn” was clear. There was virtually nothing left when it burned down. A small pile of white powdery ash. I’ve seen other brands on social media ads who say their pits perform similarly, and they may. However size V price coupled with a modern aesthetic make the Blue Sky option the clear winner. Already ordered a second for a Christmas gift for a family member!

Delightfully simple fire pit! I wouldn’t say that it’s smoke-free, but it limits the flow of smoke to a vertical column, so if you’re sitting next to it you don’t at all wind up smelling like smoke. Terrific addition to a large screened brick patio area. We also got the cover so that it doesn’t get all beaten up in the FL weather.
