Product Overview

Flexible Couplings have found wide acceptance among sewer and plumbing contractors and municipalities because of their quality and ease of installation. These pipe couplings and adapters are used for all types of in-house and sewer connections: drain, waste, vent piping, house-to-main, repairs, cut-ins, conductor, roof drains and increasers-reducers. Manufacturing thousands of different flexible coupling types, The Plumber's Choice has the right solution for most applications. Made of tough elastomeric polyvinyl chloride (PVC), the flexible couplings are strong, resilient and unaffected by soil conditions. They are also resistant to chemicals, ultraviolet rays, fungus growth, and normal sewer gases due to the inert nature and physical properties of the PVC material. Flexible couplings are leak-proof, rot-proof and seal against infiltration and exfiltration, giving you confidence in your pipe connections. ***CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Phthalates content which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive harm. At first, I thought that this coupling was the wrong size, because its opening was much bigger than the 2 pipes I needed to join (slightly under 1-inch exterior), but it tightened down without issue. I've been using it for a few weeks with no leaks or other issues!

(What's this)
This rubber coupling is perfect for my project. I connect a few IBC totes for my rain harvesting system and I will use this coupling to connect a PVC downspout to the top of the totes. The rubber matter perfectly allows enough flexibility for easier connection. It is great that the clams are stainless steel because it will get exposed to the weather. I am very satisfied with coupling and it provides a sure connection.

The quality material the rubber coupler is perfect and it is a perfect fit for a PVC tube. I will be using this coupling to connect a few IBC totes for my rain harvesting system. The rubber matter perfectly allows for flexibility and easy on connecting pipes. It is great that the clamps are stainless steel because it is going to get wet a lot. Overall, I am very satisfied with coupling and I am confident that it will do its job and last a long time.

(What's this)
Even if you don't have an immediate need for a 1-1/4 in. PVC Flexible Coupling with Stainless Steel Clamps it is a great item to have on hand for an emergency. It works on many different materials including cast iron, copper, plastic, and steel. Sometimes, replacing a long run of piping just isn't an option. This allows you to make a repair and easily join the pieces together. Perfect for a drain line or any line that isn't under a lot of pressure.

(What's this)
What could be a simpler way to couple two 3” pipes. No blue dye on your hands or sticky glue. Especially when working in tight situations. Easily couple two pipes in seconds. And the quality is exceptional. It comes with two heavy duty stainless steel clamps that you can crank down tight to make an air tight seal. It is made out off tough polyvinyl that resists rot. But remember theses are not suitable in high pressure situations. But rain pipes, sewer connections and drains will be the perfect application for these couplers.

(What's this)
This Flexible reducer coupling can be used to transition a 1 ½” pipe to a 3” pipe, and is resistant to chemicals, ultraviolet rays, fungus growth, and normal sewer gases. It can be used for PVC, ABS, Cast Iron, Steel, or Copper pipe. It makes any future drain line service calls fast & easy, since the inside of the pipes can be accessed by simply loosening and removing the coupling. The clamps are made of stainless steel and should last a lifetime. They should always be torqued down to 60 inch pounds using a torque wrench to insure a tight, leak proof connection. The flexible Elastomeric Polyvinyl Chloride material allows for some variation in diameters of the pipe, so don’t worry if the coupling does not slide right onto an existing pipe. It also allows for some flexing of the pipes. Always clean the surface of the pipes before sliding into the coupling. It is not recommended to use a reducer coupling to flow from the larger pipe into the smaller pipe. Always make sure the flow will be from smaller pipe into the larger pipe. This coupling can be used for Drain, Waste, or Vent pipes (DWV). As with any flexible coupling, it should not be used in a pressurized system. It also should not be used in any potable (fresh drinking) water applications. The contact surface of the coupling is smooth, not ribbed. Some couplings have little ribs molded in to them. NOTE: This coupling works well with most pipes. It may not work well with Thin Wall, or CPVC pipe due to sizing differences of these pipes. Always measure your pipe diameter.
