My plan for the 30-inch Everflow one-inch Black steel pipe has nothing to do with plumbing, but rather I needed a sturdy pipe(s) to use as a hanger for hydraulic hoses in a barn storage area. I was able to locate and purchase two one-inch floor flanges that I used to connect the pipe to the wall along with a second one-inch Everflow pipe and a coupler (in order to make the hanger 60 inches instead of 30).
The schedule 40 black pipe had the strength to hold several hoses with any undo strain on the coupled pipe. Should last for years.
