Can this be bent flexibly and connect ABS 2" shower drain pipe and burry in concrete slab?

AnswersIt depends on just how much flex you need. I didn't need much, so I couldn't say what the limits are. It has quite a bit of flexibility, but it is too rigid to work for, say, a 45 degree angle. Likewise, there is enough softness that it could clamp down on a pipe that's a little bit small, but not a whole lot.

I am building a rainwater collection system using three large containers, so I need a good pipe connection system. This 2 inches 90-Degree PVC Flexible Elbow Coupling with Stainless Steel Clamps makes it a lot easier to connect the system, and it allows the option for future modification. Using wholly ridged pipes would require discarding materials if the system needs changes or adjustments. The coupling fits precisely a 2-inch PVC, and the steel clamps make a tight connection; water does not leak. What makes this product perfect for my rainwater system is when water collects, the vibration produced from the falling water will not cause the connections to separate because the coupling is flexible. This flexible elbow is great and works well for my needs.

Just the job for connecting two 1 ½ inch air pipes securely and leak free. The rust resistant stainless steel clamps on each end are good quality and can be tightened up to make a secure connection using a flat blade driver or a socket and ratchet. The flexible PVC material of the elbow itself is nicely made with smooth, clean lines and contours both inside and out.

This elbow is thick and sturdy enough to last, but pliable enough to get around minor differences in fit and alignment. That and the fact that you only need a screwdriver/wrench make it a good choice for a do-it-yourselfer. Plus, it costs less than all-metal parts that would require soldering and precision.

A must have for repairs or additions with unlike material composition pipes. First of all, I have made many pipe repairs and additions throughout my years and these flexible pipe couplings are a critical component in making a job simple. This is a 90 degree "sweep" elbow which is great when working in UN-pressurized wastewater systems as the gentle lengthened "sweep" of the 90 degree angle prevents clogging compared to an abrupt 90 degree angle that can prevent large items to get around the bend. These flexible elbows are made to mate steel pipe with plastic pipe, or most other combinations of materials
Stainless steel clamps are provided with the unit.
