How do the handles remove to replace cartridge?

Answer1. Unscrew the set screw to remove the handle. Remove the retaining clip or nut. 2. Gently pull out the cartridge and replace it with a new one. 3. Reassemble the faucet. With the faucet knobs in the “on” position, slowly turn on the water supply. Too much initial pressure can damage the new hardware. As far as faucets go I think this is pretty basic. Basically a no frills, replacement faucet for your guest bathroom or something. Installation is pretty straight forward. If you've installed a bathroom faucet before, this one will be no different and everything you need for the installation is included with the faucet. Water pressure is pretty standard. I noticed the handles wobble a little bit so not sure if this will be an issue down the road. Biggest issue I had with this was the pop up stopper. For one, it doesn't come up as high as I would like so water pools up in the sink pretty quickly. Secondly, it sits at an angle and not straight up as other faucets. So on top of the stopper not sitting high enough, it also doesn't sit properly. Water still drains normally however it's more of an irritation more than anything. I think it should be fine going forward however it's the little things that make good vs great products.

Looking for an economy faucet set? This might just be a good solution. As for construction, this unit appears to be built ok, not great. This is a value-priced item that, to me, speaks for use in a guest bathroom, rental unit, etc. I would not personally use this in a daily application based on the look & feel. Installation is straight forward. Instructions are easy to understand.

I got this faucet to update and replace the one I have had for ages that is outdated and leaking....
I got this faucet to update and replace the one I have had for ages that is outdated and leaking. The new faucet is very nice and attractive, however, it doesn't fit in the holes I have in my counter. I have one of those older counters with the built-in sink and the holes are smaller than this faucet requires. Unfortunately,
when I ordered it there was no information provided about the size of the holes necessary to install this before purchasing it and actually getting it home. I have yet to decide if I'm going to try installing this by trying to bore larger holes or just give up and return it. Someday I will remodel my bathroom, but that's not on my immediate to-do list.
