A:  I think the description explains that it's patio use only. Just put some Vicks vaporub on their legs.

A:  I wouldn’t use these indoors. But there is a product called Zevo which works great indoors. It has a light that attracts pesky bugs and a sticky insert that traps them. When it’s full you just remove the insert and throw it away. Thermacell is fantastic for use on a patio, deck or porch. 

A:  HI Fred, The US EPA and WHO have concluded that there is a reasonable certainty that no harm will result to butterflies or other terrestrial wildlife if using the product according to label instructions. The mosquito repellent vapors produced by our product rapidly disseminate in the air and little of the repellent ingredient falls on surfaces such as surrounding foliage where butterflies might land. If you have a butterfly garden, we recommend that you avoid using repellent in the immediate vicinity of the garden.

A:  Hi Joanne, Thank you for your question. I can answer to Thermacell products and how the product works. Thermacell does have a Multi Insect Repellent that does repel mosquitoes, No-See-Um, and Black Flies. Thermacell products are for outdoor use only and for a stationary position to clear the zone of these pesky insects.
