Is there an outside pocket on this bag and if so i'ts dimensions.

AnswerIt does. The opening is approximately 7" and 6.5" deep. The silver snap button in the photo is for that outside pocket. The depth from the bottom of the pocket to the bottom of snap button is 5.5"

I am really pleased with the way these thermo-insulated bags work. I use them primarily for when i go to the grocery store and get cold items like milk or hot items like cooked meat. It keeps cool or hot until I get home. I love them and highly recommend them.
