great alternative!
I love these tiles! I didnt want to have to deal with cutting and grouting ceramic tiles and these were my alternative! I carefully measured, cut and placed prior to removing the backing for final placement. The only thing I can recommend is that while the backing is on they are able to “slide” into place. After the backing is removed that’s not the case. So when making final placement, make sure one end is as close to an adjoining tile, wall whatever before pressing to stick. This material was easily cut with a utility knife. I simply scored the tile about 10 times and then was easily able to snap it. The cut ends can be sharp so I sanded lightly. I used decorative wood trim from HD as a finishing touch.

Great, at first....then a nightmare
These tiles looked great at first, then over the course of about two weeks all started to peel off the walls. I did these according to the directions and had prepared the walls for them. They start peeling off as soon as the room starts to get warmer. Even the directions say if you want to take them down, heat them up. Not great for something that I installed in my kitchen around my stove. Maybe if I never planned on cooking or baking anything ever again they would've worked out...
