It eliminates the need for link springs or a box spring and is a great alternative to a standard foundation for platform beds, bunk beds and day beds. These wooden slats prevent sagging and increase the longevity of a mattress. Made of solid wood you can add these to a regular bed frame making it a platform bed frame. I had to return the slates was not long enough...
I had to return the slates was not long enough I end up buying some wood slates measured out 77.50 to reach across my California king bed. I don’t know how come these was way off for my bed and the king slates I returned as well didn’t fit either but it was longer than the cal king.

The bed support slats are too short. They partially...
The bed support slats are too short. They partially collapsed the third night of use.
They measured 1/4' to 1/8' short of the advertised 52 7/8" slat length. The actual distance between our bed frame sides is the standard 53".
Upon return to the Olean, NY store, the worker who assisted with the return and crediting our account was very efficient , courteous, and helpful. He should be commended!. For that reason, I give an overall rating of "fair".
