I am not a flooring expert, but my understanding is flooring is either floating without glue, or glued down with troweled glue, rather than with this more liquid glue. My vinyl floor was laid without glue. I suspect this glue would hold the floor.

Only if you use nails also. A lot of people will suggest you use screws but the shear rate of screws are not strong enough. Ensure you let the glue cure and use clamps to allow time to dry.

I use Titebond products for nearly all of my woodworking projects. My favorites are Titebond II and III. Titebond II offers a fast setup/drying time, which I needed for my current project. Titebond III is a bit more watery and offers a longer working time. Both of them are excellent wood adhesives.

...Titebond II, didn't meet my expectations ?...No, for the contrary, surpassed all my personal expectations. For many years, I had to use many types of glues... specially "wood glues", and this brand name, I highly recommend it. And for sure I pay them for myself, not for free...
