why is product so thick wont spray?

This product is thick as honey. I sprayed for half hour and did not use any spray. What is wrong?

Product very disappointing. Did not spray repellent, only water. I have read the comments and this seems to be a common problem. Comments include heating, clamping , etc, but nothing on directions. Wish I had read comments prior to purchase. Ended up cutting off top, mixing with water by hand, and trying to spray with another sprayer. Shame on Scotts and Home Depot for not advising customers of this known problem.

32 oz. Ready-to-Spray Mole and Gopher Liquid Repellent is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't dispense Bought 4bottles today, tried two different bottles, 20min each, and the oil wouldn't dispense...the bottles are still full of oil. Took off one's cap to make sure there wasn't a quality seal that I had to take off. Sufficient pressure -50psi...could be the city water temperature, which is probably 50-55 F right now. Please advise on what I should do

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product does not dispense from container I am not the only one that wasted time, water and money on this product. I have plenty of water pressure, disconnected and reconnected from the hose several times as well. Even resorted to squeezing the bottle, but nothing worked. It may actually work if you can get it onto your yard. I did get a load of mosquito bites for my trouble though. :)

I tried sitting it in hot water, didn't help. I put it in my own yard sprayer and it still wouldn't dispense. I tried to cut it with dawn and hot water, didn't help. IT IS JUST TO THICK, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Finally just poured it out on a mole trail.

A fine spring day in Michigan and I woke up to discover that Moles had dug little raised tunnels all over my backyard. A spiderweb of raised brown grass could only mean one thing, it was time to do some Internet research. After discovering the Tomcat ready to spray Mole repellent, I figured that I'd give it a shot... or, at least try to give it a shot. I spent about 15 minutes watering my lawn by hand with this product attached to the end of my hose only to discover that the mole repellent was still in the yellow container. Thinking that I had done something wrong, I read over the directions multiple times, checked the position of the dispenser, shook the container with the vigor of a drunkard with maracas at the local Mexican restaurant, and double checked the water pressure. Everything looked fine. Product would not dispense. Went to read Internet reviews on Home Depot to see what I was doing wrong. Turns out that everyone has this problem. The product does not dispense out of the container. Not to be deterred, I cut the bottle open with my trusty ginzu knife to extract the castor oil. This stuff has the viscosity of 60-weight motor oil. It's THICK. I put 2 gallons of hot water into a backpack sprayer and added the castor oil to the sprayer. The oil does not mix easily even with 120F-degree water. I walked around the yard jumping up and down with the oil/water mix in the sprayer. I was able to get the product dispensed into my yard using this method. I've got no information on whether it is actually effective just yet. My recommendation: Just buy some Castor oil. You can buy 64oz. of castor oil for about $15. Spend the same $15, get 2x the product, save yourself the hassle of dealing with the sprayer. Cross your fingers and hope it actually works.

Castor oil oozed out all over me. I doubt that any oil sprayed on the lawn. But I'm sure the I'm safe from being bodily attacked by moles.
