Questions & Answers

Is this safe for dogs ? What if the dog eats the dead rat?? Will it kill the dog also?????

Asked by: Randall
I don’t know, my daughter had a dog with her once when she came to visit, and we think he got into the bates, she took him to a vet, they treated him and he is still alive, we don’t know if he actually ate any, he never showed any symptoms, but it could be he got treatment quick enough. I believe the label recommends keeping the bates away from pets.

what happens to the rodent once it dies in the roof?

Asked by: vicente
My experience is with roof rats only. Once the rat dies it will have a noticeable stink once it starts to rot. The smell disappears after a couple of days. Sometimes the carcass is cannibalized by other rats.
