Product Overview

The 24 in. Knockdown Knife with Clear Lexan blade is used to flatten wall and ceiling texture patterns for that "knocked down" look. It erases trowel lines without creating chatter marks like other knives. The blade is both flexible and durable.
  • Lexan blade is designed with the perfect amount of flex for consistent patterns
  • Lexan 9034 blade wears much longer than acrylic or other plastic blades, it is virtually unbreakable
  • Acute corner angle is designed for working in tight areas
  • Threaded handle for use with extension poles

I need to fuse hard plat together that is cracked. Maybe some type of epoxy please?

Answer

I have never tried to repair a broken Lexan blade, but my suspicion is that epoxy won't hold because the blade has the flex so much. Or if it did hold you would lose so much of the motion of the blade that you wouldn't get the results you need. I believe you'll just have to buy another one. Sorry. Gary

Is the lexan blade on this knife rigid, or is it bendable?

It is bendable.

It worked great. Only giving 4 stars because the corners started to peel off and I'm not sure how this will affect performance in future projects.

There is a thin film of plastic on the blade to protect it, which is very easy to overlook. If it is still on, just peel it off and discard it. This will not affect the performance of the blade at all. Gary toolpro
