Rotor broke in less then 30 second
The plastic rotor blade broke in 30 seconds and it is too heavy to handle. Very unstably balanced. Not worth. Wastage of money.

              Save Your Back
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally, while I snow blow our large driveway, my wife shovels the walkways, steps, and deck. After shoveling out from the last snowfall, she complained of lower back discomfort and wondered if her shoveling days were numbered. This prompted the search for a power shovel. The Toro Power Shovel won the comparison shopping. Today, my nearly 70 yr. old wife used it for the first time and loves it. She found that the it had plenty of power and that the weight was well balanced and of no concern. I was pleased that for her 30+ minutes of shoveling, only half the battery's power was used. But most importantly, no complaint of back discomfort! (Note: My Dependability rating of "Excellent" is based on previous experience with various Toro gas powered equipment rather than the first time use of this power shovel)

                Powerful snow clearing/ Amazing value
I used it on dry fluffy Colorado powder so your mileage may vary. - I was able to plow through 12” of powder very easily. - It throws the snow an amazing 25+ feet and dissipates it into a fine layer. It did not simply create a new mound of snow in front of me. - Amazing on smooth surfaces like our driveway, but manageable to work it over the unevenness of our flagstone pathways. - I used it for around 20min and the charge indicator said I still had 75% left. - It makes shoveling snow FUN!!

Works great, just maybe not for tall people.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as expected. Only issue is that I wish there was as an extension for those of us that are tall. Can be hard on your back if you have a lot to do.

A couple years ago we moved into the Sierra foothills and for the first time in my life, I experienced snow at my home. It has been a bit of a learning process to figure out how to deal with clearing out the snow. We have about a ¼ mile of driveway so we have a snow plow for that but we still have walkways, stairs, and decks that need clearing. In the previous years, we used a standard snow shovel which works fine but it is serious work. We decided to try this Toro 12 in. 60-Volt Battery Cordless Electric Snow Shovel with 2.5 Ah Battery Plus Charger to see if it would make some of the hard labor a bit easier. When this electric snow shovel arrives, it requires some minor assembly but that was completed in under five minutes. It has a 60 volt battery that requires charging prior to use. Once it was assembled, my wife picked it up and felt that it was very heavy and she didn’t feel she would be using it. I explained to her that you rest it on the ground during use but she felt it was too heavy. Once the battery is charged, it is installed in the compartment on top and is covered with a plastic cover to keep water out. The snow shovel has two speeds which is controlled by a switch on the side of the handle. High speed can be used for high power and low speed is for when you need a bit more control possibly when going around obstacles. According to the product literature, on high speed, the snow shovel can throw snow up to 25 feet. Also according to the product literature, the snow shovel and handle snow up to six inches deep. For my purposes, six inches of snow is fine but obviously if you live in a heavier snow area, you might need a different machine. The “shovel” head consists of a rotating plastic plow that feels sturdy and I hope it holds up well over time. It’s only late October so I have not had any snow yet but when I do, I will definitely be putting this snow shovel to the test. It seems like a quality machine and will definitely be helpful for my Winters.

I wanted a small snow blower that was small enough to keep on my front porch. I found the Toro 12” 60-volt battery powered snow shovel to be the perfect choice. It does not take up much space. The charger can be wall mounted so I keep it behind the shovel ready to go. The battery slips into and out of both the charger and the shovel with ease and snaps securely. The shovel comes out of the box needing the two handle sections to be attached. There is a spring pin that needs to be pressed in while pushing the two sections of tube together. The spring pin aligns with a hole in the opposite section so it pops in when aligned correctly. Then the hand nut on the tube clamp needs to be tightened to completely secure the sections. Last is mounting the auxiliary handle, which has4 - allen head screws. Slip the charged battery into the holder on the shovel and it is ready to go. The unit has two speeds. The speed switch is located below the lockout / run triggers. The instruction book clearly explains all the steps to assemble and use the shovel. The until seems to be well made. The weight using my home scale was 20 lbs. It is easy to maneuver and use. I am very happy with the unit.

                  Awesome, Makes Clearing Snow Fun!
Much to love about this power shovel and I can clear even 8-10" of snow with almost zero effort. Battery lasts a long time and you might have your kids wanting to take over because it's so fun. HOWEVER, it only blows the snow forward, a limitation for many uses. If that works with your driveway, paths or sidewalk, this is a game changer! Disclosure: TORO sent me a Power Shovel to test out and review.

The Toro 60v cordless power shovel makes shoveling easy when using it in small driveways, decks, and patios. The power Curve Auger System can throw snow up to 25 feet and clears an area of up to 4 parked cars in 6 inches of snow. Toro is a well established brand and known to produce well made items. The shovel uses a 135 lithium +ion. This mighty power shovel is a great tool made by the legendary Toro.

This Snow Shovel is a great snow removal tool and it's cordless. I am anxious to use this version as I had great success with the electric model. This comes complete with 60 volt battery and charger. After a simple assembly and charging the battery you are ready to go. The battery slides right into place and removes by simply pushing the button and pulling. It has green LED lights to indicate the power level. The tool is well balanced and uses a easy grip safety switch. It spins at a good speed and slides along the floor without any scraping.
