By adding the Toro Recycler system to your Toro 42 in. TimeCutter SS or SW, you create your own natural fertilizer. The 42 in. Recycler Kit, when installed on compatible 42 in. deck Toro zero turn riding mowers, gives it the capability to mulch grass by cutting it multiple times turning it into fine clipping pieces. These are returned under the mower back into the soil to serve as natural fertilizer.

AnswersYes new blades are included as well as a cover to place where grass normally exits the deck. There is also a small baffle to be installed under the center of the deck. Every thing need is included.
Is this a quick assembly and removal for back to normal side discharge?

AnswerVery easy. There is a quick connect discharge chute plug that installs without tools to close off the cutting chamber and simply remove that (tool less) and you are back to side discharge. Thank you.

I primarily needed the chute plug. I like the extra piece that attaches under the deck. The included mulching blades seem less effective. They are almost entirely flat with an upturned trailing edge. It seems the stock blades may actually mulch better. My push mower does a better job mulching, but it takes longer.

Quick delivery, easy install, works ok. It’s really just a plastic cover. Still doesn’t keep leaves inside long enough to mulch them up super fine, but significantly better than without the mulching kit. And way better than paying for a full bagging kit.

A total of ten minutes to install. I peaked at the directions and didn't even need them. I have never worked on a riding mower before. Fyi save the old blades. Never know might need them.
