First time Zero Turn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Timecutter 50” is my first zero turn. It took me an hour taking it slowly to get a good hang of it and then it was off to the races. No other way to mow a lawn now. The cut is nice and my lawn mowing time has decreased. The small storage area keeps my gloves and ear plugs close. I added an hour meter which Toro should have provided. The Kawasaki engine is smooth, quiet and reliable. Really enjoying the yard work.

Poorly built
I purchased this mower with high expectations. When I got it home. It didn’t track straight and the deck was not level. The third time is used it the left damper came loose and the left steering lever could not be controlled. I’ve had it 2 weeks and it’s already in the shop for warranty work. I won’t have it back for another week. Home Depot can’t service them so you have to find a Toro authorized dealer and service center to get anything repaired. Very disappointed.

Great Mower so far !!

Took me awhile to get the hang of steering it, as I have never drove a zero turn mower, but it has definitely cut my mowing time down from my old Bolens 48 inch cut tractor.

WE'RE LOVING OUR NEW TORO ZERO TURN MOWER!

toro 50” fab deck Kawasaki motor zero turn

Does have a squeak from the front guide rod that lets the deck move up and down kinda annoying. Wish it was mounted on a bushing instead of steel to steel. Great cut quality smooth ride handling is amazing very Responsive.

I like the mower. The heavier deck should last a lot longer. Definitely a must have is the foot lever to help lift it. Cuts great with no issues on the slopes of my property. Smooth operation of the handles with the struts. Had to order it since there were none with the Kawasaki motor in store. Shipping notifications will throw you off because when they say delivered, it’s actually when it shows up at your local service provider for assembly. Overall it’s a great update to the worn out 2011 model I had. The only negative I have is the fact it doesn’t come with the hour meter. The wiring and cutout are there already. When you spend close to $4,000 on a machine that gives specific maintenance instruction according to the hours of use, that should be included.

Seems like a good mower. But when it was delivered I noticed a piece of tape on the back of the seat. I pulled it off and noticed they covered 2 cuts in the seat. ashame when you buy something new they send it like this.
