Matched precipitation rates ensure all nozzles (every radius and pattern) apply water at the same rate (inches per hour). Uniform part-circle watering patterns eliminate over and under throw. Toro Nozzles fit any Toro 570 Series pop-up body or shrub adapter.

A:  Yes you can.

A:  Yes, it will reduce the spray to that distance. At 3 feet, you may not have a perfect pattern. Typically, we like to recommend maximum reductions of 20-25% of the max radius.

    A:  The nozzles required for the strip of grass between your sidewalk and curb are called “specialty nozzles”. Your choices for the application you are describing are Toro model numbers: 53871 Center Strip, 53872 End Strip, and 53873 Side Strip. Using the small screw on the top of the nozzles, you can reduce the depth of the spray to your required distance – the width of the pattern will simultaneously adjust down. If you require directional corner strip nozzles, they are only available through your local Toro distributor or installation/maintenance contractor.

      I ordered 6 1/4 and 6 1/2 Toro 560 5...
      I ordered 6 1/4 and 6 1/2 Toro 560 5 foot radius spray heads (red). 5 out of 6 1/2 heads worked and 1 of 6 of the 1/4 heads worked. I ordered 6 1/4 heads knowing most won’t spray evenly or much at all from past experience and I only needed 1 so I considered this a success. I gave it 3 out of 5 as 1/2 spray heads did spray correctly and I knew 1/4 heads would be iffy. I’ve rarely had problems with 8’, 10’, 12’ and 15 foot 570 heads.
