The Toro 570Z Pro Series Plastic Pop-Up Sprinkler Head Body is constructed from plastic for durability. This sprinkler body features a built-in X-Flow shut-off device that eliminates water loss when the sprinkler nozzle is damaged or removed.

  • Add any Toro 570 nozzle to create a custom water-saving irrigation design
  • 4 in. pop-up height is ideal for clearing grass or ground cover
  • 1/2 in. FNPT inlet
  • Plastic material
  • X-flow shut-off device helps eliminate water loss when the sprinkler nozzle is removed or damaged
  • Install Toro matched precipitation rate (MPR) nozzles to ensures even water distribution, any pattern and any radius to prevent over or under watered areas

Answer This Question

A:  This is the body only. It does not contain a nozzle. Toro makes many nozzles of different ranges and patterns that fit into this body.

    A:  There is a small screw on the top of the nozzle. Turn the screw clockwise to reduce the spray distance.

      A:  This item is the body only. You need to remove the red cap and install one of the 570 series nozzles in order for water to come out.

        A:  Thank you for your question. It sounds as though the nozzle has become clogged with some type of debris. You may need to remove the nozzle and screen, clean them, flush the line, and reinstall the nozzle and screen.

                Why don't you SHOW the water pattern????? I spent all day working on 4 of these things. Never got it done. Have to go back tomorrow. I can't go I am handicapped. One is 15 ft. and shoots across our 6ft wood fence. It moves back and forth. Gets NO water on OUR lawn. I like to have the long range ones. But can't adjust them to NOT water in the street! Or the driveway. It needs a corner lot low to the grass spraying, that will still go far for a big lot area. WHICH ONE IS THAT?? I also have 2 or more with FAT gray pipes. I don't know how fat. My husband brought a whole bag of fat ones home. WRONG SIZE they were too fat!!. He sent me this picture from home depot and we could not figure it out. We both became frustrated!! Subject: My husband spent 4 hours yesterday trying to figure these all out with me on the phone and cell phone camera. From Home Depot.

                    Easy to install once you figure out....
                    you need both the particular 'shrub head' (or 570 spray head ) , and the toro body. you need to match the 'shrub head' spray pattern desired in degress 0 to 360 to your space, unless you buy an 'adjustable' degree head for 3x the price . you need to get the right spray radius 4 feet to 30 unless you want to water your enighor's lawn and the street. the toro base is 1/2 inch. if you have 3/4 inch or gods help you 3/4 copper you will need to solder a reducer 3/4 to 1/2 flare fitting onto your copper pipe AND solder on a threaded 1/2 inch copper female to receive the 1/2 toro male. once you do all these things, you will be very happy w the toro system. you will save the $1500 that 'pros' charge to dig in your yard and install this irrigation system. and toro customer support actually has humans who call you back.
