This battery blower is a GO!
After many years of using a gas blower, I was looking for a lightweight battery blower for quick and small jobs around the house so I decided to go with this Toro 60V Blower after some research. I absolutely love it. Positives for me is that the blower is actually six inches longer than my old blower, so that distributes the weight better for me. The blower is not any louder and the speed is good. The turbo boost is nice but I will seldom use it to conserve battery power. The battery charged quickly, and the lights on the battery tell me how much charge is left. Only thing I would note is to make sure your charged battery is inserted all the way into the blower housing for a good connection. There is a slight delay on the blower when you pull the trigger, but it is no nice to pick it up and get busy. Also the speed lock is great for extended jobs. I am now ready to get the Toro battery weed eater that uses the same charger and battery. This blower has blown me away.

A nice little buddy to have for small and medium yards.
I bought this thing because I have a Toro Weedwhacker and it takes a 60 V battery and I’m very happy with the blower as well. The batteries are inter- changeable and for my property area after I cut the grass, that 60 V battery pack has extra power to spare. It’s very easy to put together and when you slap the battery in —-your ready to go. I like the features on it, such as the power boost for tight corners and it also has a trigger lock for hand fatigue for constant blowing. It’s nice for the price and you can’t miss on this one!

This is a nice blower, but the charger failed. Not only did this charger fail, but I’d gotten two other Toro 60 volt lawn tools, which also come with chargers and batteries, and one of those chargers also failed. This charger failed after charging a battery one time. The other charger that failed never worked at all. So now I have three tools, three batteries and one functioning charger that I’m fearful will fail at any time. If that happens I will have three useless tools. As far as the functionality of the blower iteself goes, it’s pretty good. It’s reasonably light weight and well balanced. The speed is variable via a trigger, and there’s a “cruise control” that facilitates extended use. It has a turbo boost that really blows a lot of air. It can run for a long time (at least 20 minutes) on “normal” maximum speed, but the run time is limited to about 5 minutes when using turbo boost. What limits the run time on turbo boost is battery temperature. It will suddenly stop running, and you will not be able to charge the battery until it cools down, which will take at least a half hour at normal room temperature. At the “norma”l maximum speed large leaves, such as maple or red/white oak, can easily be blown into piles. However, here in Florida, we have live oaks which have small leaves which can get somewhat embedded in the coarse St. Augustine grass. In that case only the turbo boost can get them dislodged and blown into a pile. With only about five minutes of turbo boost operation available per battery charge, even with the three batteries I have it’s not feasible to clear my front lawn (where the live oaks shed) with this blower. I have to rake it. I can use it to blow leaves on the side and back yards since they are larger leaves. For those that don’t have the live oak situation I have, this blower will work well. However, with the quality issues I’ve had with the chargers, I cannot recommend purchasing it.

Toro 60V Cordless Leaf Blower This is a powerful cordless leaf blower. It puts out a lot of air. It is relatively light weight and well balanced, easy to hold/use. There is virtually no assembly needed out of the box. The blower tube just clips on, you charge and insert the battery pack, and it is ready to go. The adjustable speed locking lever allows you to lock the trigger at any blower speed, and it has a power boost button for when you need a little extra air. This 60V blower is much more powerful than the really old blower that we are replacing, and we are very happy with it. It is used almost daily to “sweep” porch and deck and pool cover and deck. It says 70 minute run time, but we’ve never used it that long at one time, but we are able to use it for several days before recharging. It’s so convenient to just pick up and go, and has the power to do the job well.

This is a powerful little blower that works very well for, what I believe, is its intended purpose. I have a gas-powered backpack blower that I use for the leaf clean-up of my property (1.25ac surrounded by trees). While that does a great job, it's simply not convenient for the in between leaf blowing that needs to be performed every few days to clear the leaves that like to gather around the steps to my front door and in the corners outside my garage doors which then cause constant door-closing reversals. This blower is compact enough to keep in the garage, has no fuel odors, and is always ready to go at the push of a button. It easily blew all the leaves away from my garage doors and I was able to continue blowing them off the side of the driveway. It worked just as well for clearing the front path and steps every couple of days. Having it in the garage instead of in the shed with the other gas powered tools, allowed me the opportunity to see if it would clear a couple of inches of light snow off the cars which it did quite nicely. Between a few leaf blowing and snow blowing sessions, I estimated that the battery life was about 45 minutes, which is what I expected based on the the specs. Bottom line, this tool will make a great addition to your outdoor tool set and will come in very handy for any small to medium leaf cleanup job.

The Toro 60V MAX Cordless Blower is a powerful and easy to use leaf blower. It does come with one battery and a charger, an extra battery would be nice if you have a large area to clean up. But the battery does charge up in about a hour. It is comfortable to use with a variable speed switch and it also has the option using a lever to lock the speed control switch. There is a turbo boost button that when you press, the blower delivers a very powerful amount of air. I had some fun blowing coconuts across my yard. But keep in mind using the turbo option cuts the battery run time. I was able to clear my yard of leaves in about 45 minutes using the blower and it did it in less time than my gas powered blower, without the worry of having gas and oil on hand, without the worry of it not starting and without the noise.

I use a leaf blower at least once a week during warm weather to remove leaves, grass clippings, etc. from my sidewalks and driveway. I also use it to clear flower beds and lawn areas in the spring and fall. I love having a cordless blower so I do not have to deal with a cord. This Toro comes with the battery and charger which is important to me. The blower has a good weight to it and assembles easily and has the power to clear any area.

This battery-operated/cordless leaf blower is well balanced, not too heavy and works well for my modest sized yard, sidewalks and driveway. Initially, I mostly used the "turbo" setting which, while very effective, consumed the entire battery life in less than 15 minutes (a side note: constantly holding in the "turbo" button was tiresome). From that point on, I use that setting only when I encounter wet leaves or leaves stuck in corners...and found that the normal (variable) speeds work just as efficiently. In normal use, with only sporadic use of the turbo speed, the blower lasts for 30+ minutes which is typically enough for our need. I can see during autumn, with a yard full of leaves, this may fall short though, especially if the leavers are wet. The battery charges in less than 2 hours if completely drained...I especially like the "handle" molded on the battery itself which makes handling very easy. Indicator lights and icons, etc. are easy to understand.

One of the things that I've always disliked about leaf blowers is that they are too darn loud - mainly because most of the ones my neighbors use are gas-powered. In comparison, this Toro has a "pleasant" sound and is not obnoxiously loud. It also has a lot of features that I like, including a "turbo boost" button when extra power is needed (I've found that the regular power is good enough for most jobs); a speed lock button (so that you don't have to keep the trigger continually pressed); and easy assembly for the blower and the battery. Aside from blowing leaves in the yard, I have also used it for blowing debris out of gutters and pushing all of the leaves, etc., that tend to clutter up my carport into a nice neat pile. The leaf blower is very well-made and easy to use. I should get years of enjoyable service out of this new tool as Toro has been a reliable brand for me in the past.

After using the Toro 13-15 60 Volt string trimmer edger , I needed to now use the Toro Blower to prove to my self that every Toro product is well designed and made to last. I found the blower very easy to assemble right out of the box and it was obvious that as usual it was quality build and designed any totally up to the Toro standards that I would expect, As soon as I started to use it I was totally impressed with the power and effeteness of this first class blower. I was totally pleased in all respects.
