A: The term bubbler is used to describe how water is emitted at a lower flow and a short distance away to cover an immediate area, versus a spray nozzle where water is thrown up to 15 feet in every direction.

I ordered these because they looked equivalent to the Rainbird bubblers which were out of stock. These were OK but were difficult for me to adjust and are not up in effectiveness to the others.

Spray Radius Not As Expected
These have a small range by comparison to the 360 degree mist bubblers that I had. There are 6 jet streams that come out but only cover maybe 3-4 inch radius tops. I can see where it would be ideal to use these near some dense shrubs that are planted very close together but definitely not for tomato plants that are seperated by 12 inches.
The DIG Corp Adjustable-Flow Bubbler on Spike provides controlled watering feature to accommodate a variety of different plants within your system. Watering radius is adjustable from a gentle flow to off. As your plants grow the flow can be increased as they require additional water to flourish.
Toro Blue Stripe Drip Emitters (5-Pack) incorporate a flow and adjustment system that fine-tunes the flow of water from a gentle stream to a slow drip or shuts it off completely. These emitters feature a full-circle pattern with an adjustable throw distance measuring up to 3 ft. in diameter. Includes a 4 3/4" stake with 1/4" inlet.
DIG pressure compensating drippers help ensure your outdoor plants and landscaping are getting just the right amount of water. Labyrinth water passage regulates the flow of water to provide the most accurate and consistent irrigation despite pressure fluctuations and varying landscape elevations. An internal silicone diaphragm provides a self-cleaning mechanism to keep drippers clog free.
DIG Pressure Compensating (PC) Drip Emitters are designed to produce a consistent flow rate over a pressure range of 10 to 45 psi. The PC drip emitter maintain a consistent flow rate regardless of fluctuations in water pressure or differences in landscape elevation. DIG PC drip emitters offer a convenient way to water both new and existing landscapes, including difficult terrain such as slopes, oddly shaped areas and sites with high winds. The PC drip emitter with barbed inlet can easily be installed into 1/2 in. poly tubing or at the end of the micro tubing.
