Q:My manual states to only use 0.80 trimmer line. My unit has an older serial number so when I went on toro.com and searched for the manual with the newer serial number it states that you can use either 0.80 or 0.95 trimmer line. Is my unit an older model?

A:  Hi, Ross! Thanks so much for your question. If your unit has an older serial number, it is most likely an older model — we would recommend following your manual for your specific trimmer. That said, if you have this string trimmer attachment #88716, serial 321000001 - 322999999, you will need 0.080 in. 100 ft. Trimmer Line #88611. The main difference is that models #51830T and #51831T are complete string trimmer units that do not come with a battery and charger, whereas model #88716 is a string trimmer attachment only that requires the Power Head, #51810T. This string trimmer attachment works exclusively with our 60-Volt Max attachment capable system and can be used with our 60-Volt Max Attachment Capable Power Head (model #51810T) that you can view online at: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Toro-Flex-Force-Power-System-60-Volt-Max-Attachment-Capable-Power-Head-Bare-Tool-51810T/320625262. Unfortunately, your 60V leaf blower is a dedicated blower and will not be able to accept attachments. Hope this helps, thanks!

The 60V MAX* 8 in. (20.3 cm) Brushless Stick Edger #51833 is a dedicated edger that doesn’t accept attachments. The edger heads themselves are comparable in specifications to one another.               Like the battery feature, but a couple of issues
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The string was not wound up properly and only one side is sticking out. Also the angle on the trimmer is difficult to do edges. Locke cord free.
