A: My leak was in the check-valve (which I had hoped that I could simply replace). I could not dis-assemble the new anti-syphon valve and so had to completely replace the entire unit.

A: Success! Using a Vise and a Pennzoil Model 19420, 2-3/8 to 4 in. Oil Filter Wrench, I was able to unscrew both the shut-off flow control valve and anti-siphon from the new unit, then screw those parts into the old unit ? fixing the leaks!

A: The ID of valve cap for model L4010 (1”) is 2.625 inches. The ID of valve cap for model L4034 (3/4”) is 2.250 inches.

SHUT OFF LEAKS !!!

Leaked bad after install. I disassembled and cause was cheap China "o-rings" that could not seal the water in.
