Just raise the handle and lock into position. Charge the battery before first use and insert. The only thing to assemble is the curved spout on top the the machine.

As you have mentioned, it is best to store the battery at two or three LED lights. Running the machine is the best way to deplete the battery, or use it in other tools that you may have such as a leaf blower or string trimmer during the summer months. Thank you.

This will depend on the weight and level of powdered snow. If it is heavy and slushy the distance will be shorter and possibly clog the spout when wet and heavy.

Yes, the power control bar is the same as the bail. It turns the snow blower, including the auger, off and on. You should release the power control bar/bail before adjusting the chute. Thank you.

Please refer to page 10 of the manual for the temperature requirements on storing and charging your battery. This often can send a protective signal (the beeps) to your machine to not run. We recommend charging and storing your battery at 41 degree Fahrenheit, however you can use and store your machine at -22 degree Fahrenheit. Thank you.

I was blown away with the performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toro 60V snow blower is very powerful, before I ordered I was not sure if this perform same as other gas snow blowers.....but it did a phenomenal job for Chicago winter snow. This machine is not a self propelled one but not heavy to push. Battery life is good, after 30 mins of usage and getting the job done still 1-2 points of battery is left out of 4 points.

Overall it’s a great purchase!
The TORO 60 volt snowblower was very easy to put together. Charged the battery. And it was ready to use, bought it right before our area of Indiana got a lot of snow for a change. Very happy with how it moved the snow off the driveway and sidewalks. I used it on several neighbors driveways and sidewalks. They were also very impressed with it. Several said they are going to get one like it. I would highly recommend this product! Very easy to use my wife used it one afternoon before I got home from work so that the driveway and sidewalks were done for me! Bought it February 13, 2021 The LED light is very bright and makes it very easy to see when I used it early in the morning before I leave for work. The only thing I didn’t care for was it catches on the slightest edge on the driveway and sidewalks. Not a big deal you just lift up a little bit and keep going. Keep making it’s a good snowblower!!

Very Powerful, dependable, and Gets the Job Done.
Just got my Toro Battery powered snow blower about 15 days ago and probably the best investment I’ve made so far in 2021. Chicago just had several snow storms ranging from 6 inches to over a foot, on multiple days. The power clear had no problems and removed the snow without any issues. My driveway holds about 12-13 cars and I was able to remove all the snow in less than 1 hour each time. The battery is dependable and lasts well over 1 hour. Highly recommend this product!

Powerful
My new Toro 60v snow blower passed the ultimate test...the heavy snow pile left on driveway apron by city snow plow. While it takes a little effort to push through this heavy mess (not self-powered), it threw the snow a surprising distance without complaint. I have a large driveway (see photo) and the 7.5 AH battery can complete the whole area (1/2 battery for light snow, full battery heavy snow). Only complaint is that the scraper does not clean the path completely like my old Toro Snow Commander w/ rubber impeller blades. Very happy w/ the purchase and my wife loves not smelling like 2-cycle exhaust!

Good single stage snow blower
It’s not going to move a foot of snow but if you have a small driveway and get a few inches of snow at a time this little gem will do the job on one charge. Just remember to charge early

One pass, No gas!
I bought the 39901 this morning with snow and wind on the way. My dealer didn’t have one in his store yesterday, but searched other dealers, found one, and had it for me today...that level of customer service is one of the best reasons to shop locally in Pella. I ended up with some 7”-8” drifts of wet, heavy snow plus the city’s gift at the end of the driveway. I’m a 70 year old woman and was able to clean my 40’ double driveway in less than 1/2 hour. It cleaned all the way to the concrete! I couldn’t be happier!

Cleared snow well, but battery may not be up to claimed clearing capacity. 4-5" of avg snow and mine quit after about 8 car spaces worth. That included some time cleaning edges and a walkway. On eco mode it lasted longer, but then quality/quantity of snow removed is then limited. Does a great job for quick clearing tasks (<3") all the way to ground, but scraper was always getting caught on everly little irregularity. One of biggest drawbacks was wheels which accumulated snowpack easily and then would not rotate properly (mainly when temp is close to freezing / 'snowman making snow'). Great to have metal auger, but everything else is plastic and cheap feeling; makes you question $/value compared to projected lifespan. Great to pair with a dedicated 2 stage for heavy snow, but likely not enough on own for full time clearing tasks. ...oh, and charger is LOUD; be ready to put someplace you won't be bothered by internal fans. Side complaint. When I got mine it looked like it had been out in rain for a while it was covered in dirty rain splash marks and even charger box and battery were wet. Appeared new, but floor model that was not stored properly. Ended up returning, mainly due to questionable condition received and fact endurance rating wasn't living up to spec.

Snow sticks to tires - too hard to push
I had to STOP OFTEN to knock the snow off the tires before I could continue forward... It was a few inches of heavy snow and the machine didn't perform well in the Eco mode but did ok in the higher speed. I do love the ease of starting but have only experienced heavier snow - It is a good fit for my abilities except the sticking snow on the tires. I'm not sure if I am keeping it.
