Overall it’s a great purchase!
The TORO 60 volt snowblower was very easy to put together. Charged the battery. And it was ready to use, bought it right before our area of Indiana got a lot of snow for a change. Very happy with how it moved the snow off the driveway and sidewalks. I used it on several neighbors driveways and sidewalks. They were also very impressed with it. Several said they are going to get one like it. I would highly recommend this product! Very easy to use my wife used it one afternoon before I got home from work so that the driveway and sidewalks were done for me! Bought it February 13, 2021 The LED light is very bright and makes it very easy to see when I used it early in the morning before I leave for work. The only thing I didn’t care for was it catches on the slightest edge on the driveway and sidewalks. Not a big deal you just lift up a little bit and keep going. Keep making it’s a good snowblower!!

    Awesome Macine!
We just built a new home and I bought the family of Toro 60v products. I've only had the opportunity to mow once, but the mower did a great job. This review is for the Snow Blower. I'm having one of those "where have you been all my life!" moments with this machine. The first time I used it we had 2-3 inches and I did a 3 car driveway in under 30 minutes. Didn't even slow down. This week we had 10 inches of blowing snow - blizzardlike conditions for our area of the midwest. There were drifts that were up to a foot and a half high. My Toro tackled it all. In the highest spots I had to "eat away" at the piles but the machine didn't slow down. In spots where the snow was roughly as high as the machine's mouth - even an inch or two higher - I simply moved slowly and it handled it with no problem. Anywhere the snow was within the blower opening - say 8-10 inches or less - I just kept moving. I will point out one EXTREMELY important thing. I had a moment of panic as a couple of my batteries wouldn't begin to recharge. I've had this happen before when these expensive bad boys on other products lost their ability to hold a charge. However, when I pulled the manual out for trouble shooting I saw that the batteries and chargers should not be stored or charged below like 40 degrees! I had them in the garage which had dropped below freezing in the bitter cold. Once I took it all inside and gave it time to warm up, everything worked like it was supposed to. Never been happier to see the little green flashing light! So...buy the products - keep the batteries and chargers inside your warm and happy home - and make your work light and your neighbors jeaous!

Cleared snow well, but battery may not be up to claimed clearing capacity. 4-5" of avg snow and mine quit after about 8 car spaces worth. That included some time cleaning edges and a walkway. On eco mode it lasted longer, but then quality/quantity of snow removed is then limited. Does a great job for quick clearing tasks (<3") all the way to ground, but scraper was always getting caught on everly little irregularity. One of biggest drawbacks was wheels which accumulated snowpack easily and then would not rotate properly (mainly when temp is close to freezing / 'snowman making snow'). Great to have metal auger, but everything else is plastic and cheap feeling; makes you question $/value compared to projected lifespan. Great to pair with a dedicated 2 stage for heavy snow, but likely not enough on own for full time clearing tasks. ...oh, and charger is LOUD; be ready to put someplace you won't be bothered by internal fans. Side complaint. When I got mine it looked like it had been out in rain for a while it was covered in dirty rain splash marks and even charger box and battery were wet. Appeared new, but floor model that was not stored properly. Ended up returning, mainly due to questionable condition received and fact endurance rating wasn't living up to spec.

Snow sticks to tires - too hard to push
I had to STOP OFTEN to knock the snow off the tires before I could continue forward... It was a few inches of heavy snow and the machine didn't perform well in the Eco mode but did ok in the higher speed. I do love the ease of starting but have only experienced heavier snow - It is a good fit for my abilities except the sticking snow on the tires. I'm not sure if I am keeping it.

I actually have not used it. I charged the battery, ran it into some crusty ice crap, and decided to wait for actual snow to test it out. We never got enough to warrant using it. You're welcome.

I purchases this because I am sick and tired of small engines -- their starting, maintenance, and consumables. However, I don't really want to try to snow blow with cords. I did a lot of research and this seems to be generally agree to be the best cordless snow blower on the market. I is very light and maneuverable, especially compared to my old 2-stage gas blower. It is so simple to operate. It starts up simple and it is easy to switch the direction of chute. I guess it could be a bit out of reach if you are on the shorter side. I have only had one opportunity to use this since I got it. It was about 4-5 inches of snow -- fairly wet. It got through this great. It did go down to concrete with the scraper. Not even close to a clog. You want to play with the up/down angle on the chute. Higher will give you potentially more distance, but a greater chance of getting caught in the wind and being sent back to slap you in the face. I have a three car wide driveway and about 2+ cards deep. I live on a corner lot with sidewalks on all sides. I got through this snow and had about 1 bar left on the 7.5 AH battery. I am a little worried that I could run out in a bigger accumulation. However, I could do it is phases. Also, since I am now bought-in to the toro 60v line, I may pickup the string trimmer or blower and give them a shot. If I buy, at least, one of of those with the battery, I will get a little bit extra for winter. One other tip: I do like to spray down the auger and chute with silicone spray to help reduce the chance of clogs. In the picture below, the snow has melted of quite a bit because we had some rain the following day.

          Battery died in 20 mins
6in of heavy snow. 75 ft driveway. Batt died 20 mins in. Supposed to be 7.5ah, not even close. Very disappointing. Buyer beware.

Purchased just before MN's Thanksgiving snowstorm, this battery-powered snowblower exceeded our expectations, slowly but surely working through 16"+ of heavy snow (not the ideal conditions it was intended for!). In the following week with 2 lighter rounds of several inches of snow each, it made short work of cleaning things up. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend! Just recharge the battery after use so it's ready for the next round. We were able to clear the sidewalks on our corner lot plus the apron of our driveway off the shared alley on one charge.
