do i mix oil with the gas
no
You have to raise the unit in back for self-propulsion. I have not done so,
The unit has both electric and manual start.
I bought mine last year and don't recall much at all. I think it took less than a half hour. Installing the handle and chute. Here's a link to the owners manual. https://manuals.toro.com/97461/
It gets incredibly loud when the exhaust valve sticks open and the blower becomes a lawn ornament because Toro inexplicably does not make the head or valve-train components available to purchase as replacement parts.
56 pounds.
To answer MZMN question, yes this snow blower is strong enough to break and clean the hardened snow from the road plow truck's wall, BUT it is not big or tall enough to do it in one shot. It takes a few back and forths to get through the wall. It has stalled on me a couple of times, but once you learn its limits, you can get the job done, with some care. The fact that I only needed to use it 6x this winter, it stores neatly (not bulky) and for the price, its a good machine. If your looking for more heavy duty, you may want a bigger one. But if all you need is limited use and something that beats shoveling, this is it. I've had this for 2 years now and no issues.
It takes 12 fLoz
This blower is an electric start blower.
