A 32 in. clearing width and 21 in. intake height can plow through the deepest snow and blow it over 55 ft. Ideal for concrete, asphalt and gravel surfaces. The innovative Quick Stick control allows you to quickly and easily change chute direction and chute deflector with a single, smooth motion. Convenient 1-hand operation levers allow single-handed operation freeing the other hand to change speeds or the chute control without stopping. Smooth, tight turns are a snap with self-propelled power steering. Hand warmers and headlights are standard. The exclusive Anti-Clogging System meters snow intake to reduce clogging and maximize clearing efficiency. No shear pins needed. Equipped with commercial-grade auger gearbox. If auger hits hard material, the engine will purposely stall to prevent damage. And with Toro's 3-year limited warranty and 1-year commercial warranty you can rest easy knowing that you're prepared for anything winter has in store. Count on it.

A:  Hi, there! Thanks for your question. There are a few simple steps to get your snowblower ready to go. Setup includes installing the upper handle, installing the wheel-clutch-cable ends, installing the traction-control linkage, installing the chute-control rod and installing the snow-cleanout tool. Q:I am very interested in the Toro 32" Power Max HD 1232 snow blower. However, it is very difficult to steer without starting it up. Is there any way someone can help me start it up to see how it steers/ The ad says it has "Power Steering.

        Answer This Question

A:  If you pull the steering levers before its started, it disengages the gears and you can turn it quite easily. Once started, if you pull the lever on the left, it will disengage the drive to the left wheel causing the unit to turn left (because the right wheel keeps going and the left wheel stops turning). Once you release the lever the unit will engage the left wheel again and drive straight forward. This works in reverse as well.

A:  Steering is one of the most important decisions when choosing a new snowblower. Power steering is an option that provides the most effortless steering through the use of triggers. When the operator pulls a trigger one wheel will disengage to allow the other to power through the turn. Triggerless steering is another option offered on Toro snowblowers. With minimal effort, just turn the machine and the wheels disengage to free wheel through a turn.

          This thing is a beast!
Took delivery right before a small snowstorm, and it easily handled the light snowfall. I'm looking forward to a heavier, wet snow to really see how it does. Assembly was pretty straightforward, but it took me several attempts to adjust the quick stick (it wouldn't lock in when I let go of the trigger). Much quieter than my 17-year old Toro 1028LXE.

I upgraded my toro 726 to this machine. Most everything is the same just bigger and stronger. Heated grips, power steering and metal chute are the only difference. My old one was smooth running and could move chute easily while running. The new one is herky jerky metal chute is stubborn and requires stopping. I have used it several times and have made adjustments in the 3 months I've owned it. I will keep it dry in heated garage and spray the inside with pam, this will probably outlive me.

Toro is top of the line
I am very happy with this machine. I did research on different snow blower brands before purchasing and Toro was rated at the top. Maybe a little pricier than the competition but it is worth it. Unbelievable power and performance. It is also very user friendly with the chute and steering controls.

            Sierra Snow Thrower
Heavy machine that does the job we needed. It needs a high altitude carburetor jet installed that seems tough to do. Augur really gums up in our Sierra cement. DuPont Snow & Ice did not help with clogging. Unpacking and set-up was tedious but worked. Electric start is a must on big motor.

            Big drifts, no problem
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a long drive that occasionally drifts closed with snow. My quad with plow blade cant always clear the drifts. With this Toro Snow Blower, the troublesome drifts are no longer a problem. I am very happy with this tool. Electric start works great.

            32” power max
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Throws 10” of wet heavy snow easily. This is a heavy machine to operate, you can not muscle it, let the machine do the work. Great hand warmers and smooth running. Machine wants to pull to either side depending on which direction you last turned.

            A heavy beast
This replaced a smaller yard machine with a 10 hp 24in. It's hard to compare that size motor with a 375cc, but it throws a lot of snow far, wet heavy or light. I would write more, but they limit how much you can write for some stupid reason hmmm. Pretty crazy this machine is 600 dollars more than what I bought it for 2 years ago, not sure I'd buy it now for the current price, it was bad enough paying almost 1800!
