Asked by kleeberg October 24, 2020Per the Toro Operator’s Manual, for best results, purchase only the quantity of fuel that you expect to use in 30 days. It is recommended by Toro to use fuel stabilizer in the machine at all times to keep the fuel fresh longer when used as directed by the fuel stabilizer manufacturer. The Toro Warranty statement reads that the failure to follow fueling instructions and requirements is a condition that is not covered under warranty. This includes using fuel more than one month old, fuel that contains more than 10% ethanol, failure to drain the fuel system prior to any period of non-use over one month, and improper fuel.
