2 stars is generous
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made my purchase today.... drove 100 miles home and discovered what I had. Let me explain... I removed the Timemaster from it's undamaged box. added the oil that came with it, extended the handle and gave it a quick inspection. The first thing I noted was the height adjustment lever was installed wrong and wouldn't engage the holes in the height plate. No problem, I thought. I quickly removed the wheel and corrected the issue. Once I had determined that everything else seemed to be in working order, I dismissed the misaligned lever as a simple oversight. (Quality control should have caught this). I adjusted the mower to the desired cut height and began mowing my 4000 sq foot lawn. All seemed to be going smoothly, when I hear a loud clunk under the mower and a large spring was ejected from the underside of the mower. I quickly consulted the online parts manual to see where it might have come from, and soon discovered it too was from the rear wheel height adjustment assembly. A tension spring that was supposed to be anchored to the top side of the aluminum frame via a pin. I pulled off the cover only to discover that this pin was no place to be found, but there was a scratch mark where the end of the spring had been hooked over the edge of the aluminum frame. I fabricated a new pin myself. See pic. At this point I was sure I had managed to salvage my purchase, but no... While reinstalling the plastic covers, it was revealed that two of the deck screw holes were so badly over tightened from initial assembly that they simply couldn't get any purchase in the aluminum frame to hold things together properly. Yes... JB Weld to the rescue. Mind you, if I had not driven 100 miles to purchase this thing, it would have gone straight back to the store I bought it from. This IS DAY ONE! I'm an experienced mechanic! Toro, your QC department needs to be more attentive if you want to keep customers coming back. I'm keeping the mower, barring further misfortune. I must say that this is uncharacteristic of Toro, in general. I've owned other Toro products over the years and they have always impressed me. I'm hoping my experienced can be chalked up to someone in assembly just having a bad day. I will use it for a few weeks and update my review, but I've come to expect more from Toro. Buyers, please give your Toro mower a serious inspection at the store before taking it home.

    Toro Timemaster is a BEAST!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did plenty of research for starters and welcomed the width of 30 vs my old machine of 22. It has delivered as expected which is only accolades. One tiny adjustment for increase self-propelled "power" and I was off to the races. I call it a beast...

New Toro TimeMaster Owner in DE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used my new Toro Personal Pace TimeMaster twice, and am very pleased. Unboxing/set-up was easy, owners's manual and instructions are well-written making the new process extremely fast and efficient. Started on the first pull, initial cut was amazing, the mover is very agile around landscape beds. I didn't encounter any overall mower heaviness with any aspect of moving the lawn. Second cut was even faster, I'm favorable impressed so far.

    Awesome Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is awesome. First when it was shipped opening the box and setting up is super easy. The performance is really good, it has plenty of power and does very well in thick overgrown grass. I was very happy with the mulching capabilities and would compare it to the super recycler, there's no clumps of grass at all and would considerate a superior mulching mower. I have yet to use the bag or side discharge so I cannot comment on those. The only downside I would say is the fuel capacity seems slightly less than I would have expected but is not a huge issue. Overall I would purchase this mower again.

No more battery operated mowers for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using a very popular battery operated self propelled mower for 7 years. In the last two years I’ve found myself becoming more serious about the overall appearance of my 8,000 sqft St Augustine lawn. As my lawn has become thicker and more lush I was less and less satisfied with the quality of the cut. After reading lots of reviews I purchased a Timemaster. On my first swath I was immediately amazed at the difference in cut quality and the power of the mower. My sister who shared the cost of the purchase is not a lawn person but once I showed her the yard and proved that I could cut and edge all 8,000 sqft in an hour her exact words were: “It was worth the money”. What was really noticeable is that although I motored along at easily twice the pace of my previous mower there were absolutely no loose grass blades sticking up anywhere in the yard. With my previous mower I had to double cut to get the same appearance. One thing I really like is that the deck extends well beyond the wheels of the mower. I no longer have to place a wheel on the sidewalk to ensure I’m cutting the outer edge of the lawn. This results in the height of the edge being the same as the rest of the lawn which again is a major improvement. Today when I was about halfway through the mow it began to rain extremely hard. Rather than stop and continue later I just kept mowing away. The Timemaster never missed a beat and the grass that was cut after being drenched looked just as good as the grass that was cut while dry. I am more than satisfied with my mower.
