Q:I am interested in the 96 gal Blackstone and I noticed the Commerical model is nearly double the cost. Is the commercial trashcan constructed with a stronger plastic? I am just trying to understand why the cost is so much higher.

A: The only difference is that the "Commercial" model has "Quiet Wheels," which are rubber, for use in indoor commercial environments. The residential model has hard plastic wheels, optimal for maneuvering outdoors, such as rolling out to the street for garbage pickup.

A: Thanks for your interest in Toter two-wheel (trash can) carts. The only difference is color. The prices differ due to the colorant in the resin and manufacturing cost, i.e., more popular colors such as greenstone are less expensive due to longer manufacturing runs. Toter does make two-wheel trash carts with rubber wheels ("Quiet Wheels") for indoor, typically commercial environments. We also make carts with front caster wheels and for specific applications (documents, hazardous waste, etc.).
