The quality has not changed since 2014. The materials and manufacturing process are the same. Built for extreme use, Toter two-wheel (trash can) carts are the most heavy duty on the market, often providing a service life of 15 to 20 years. They carry a 10-year warranty and enjoy the lowest claim rate in the industry. Sometimes people mistake the thinness and flexibility of our carts for weakness, when the opposite is true. Thanks to a manufacturing process Toter pioneered called "Advanced Rotational Molding," our cart bodies are made as "one" piece, with no separate bottom and side walls, i.e., no seams, and consistent wall thickness. This allows the use of "medium" density polyethylene (MDPE), which is highly impact resistant and usually lasts twice as long as injection-molded carts, which are made with "high" density polyethylene (HDPE) that is more rigid, brittle, and offers poor impact resistance. Toter cart lids are designed to fit snugly so they stay on and don't come off under stress, yet are easily opened by people and the lifters of garbage trucks. They are not easily blown open or penetrated by small animals. Toter trash carts have been the choice of national waste haulers for decades, and are loved by consumers for their appearance, mobility and general ease of use, as well as their durability.
