This product meets SAE J684 is the coupling, hitches, and safety chain testing standard used to test trailers with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of up to 10,000 lbs. These are the types that are towed by passenger cars and light-duty trucks. This standard defines the strength requirements for couplings, hitches, and safety chains.
There is no weight rating for this pin. It is designed to fit a 2" receiver.
The response from TowSmartTeam is wrong. Every pin has a weight rating, in fact the weight classes are listed right in the details of this product. This pin is listed as meeting the J684 standard which is for 10,000 lbs and under.
Yes, I have a 2 x 2 receiver on my Kubota UTV 1100C and it fit perfectly.
Thank you for your question in regards to the Clevis Pin. Please note that the usable length of the Clevis Pin is 4 3/4" and works specifically with most 2" receivers. Thank you. Victor T. - TowSmart Customer Service
It should fit all 2 in. receivers they all should have a hole to receive 5/8 in. pin
If your hole is 5/8" it should work.
I use mine on a 2x2 receiver.
Thank you for your interest in the 5/8" x 4-3/4" Clevis Pin. In regards to the garden wagon, if the diameter of your attachment point is 5/8" then this would work for you. It is a best practice if you would measure the diameter of the connection point. The capacity of the Clevis Pin would have no problem for the garden tractor to pull the garden wagon. Thank You. - Victor T. - TowSmart Customer Service
I don't see why it wouldn't work. I use it for a trailer hitch on my truck.
Yes will work great for that. See pic of it on my John Deere. Pic is without the cart attached.
It all depends on your wagon and tractor ends. One has to be inserted into the other, with a common hole drilled through middle. This clevis fills the hole and keeps itself from falling out.
Absolutely this would work. I've used it this way several times.
