A:  The mechanism for use is intuitive when you have the product in hand. The slide for the internal compartment moves easily and shuts securely. The size and appearance of the "rock" is realistic enough and small enough to be unobtrusive.

    A:  The bottom is a place to place your key inside. The bottom of the rock should be on the ground, to hide this section. When properly placed, the rock will hide seamlessly in your landscape.

                I will be returning the product. The rock itself is okay. The trouble is with the cover that holds the key. The cover simply slips into the bottom rock with two plastic tabs to hold it in place. The cover does not stay on at all. The cover is not broken, just a poor design of how the cover is held in place. I put a key in the rock, close the cover, then turn the rock upside right and the cover and key fall out the bottom. I would expect this to be more of a 99 cent purchase for the quality.
