A: Hello, and thank you for your inquiry regarding the Traeger Hickory Pellets. There are a lot of different factors that can go into the burn rate of pellets, so we are limited to providing fairly rough estimates. Although the temperature setting will obviously have the biggest affect, things like the number of lid openings, grill size, ambient temperature, and even wood type can all make a difference. But for a very approximate estimate, you can expect to burn about 1 pound of pellets every 2 hours when using the lowest setting, and about 1 pound per hour when the grill is set to 300.
A: Thank you for asking. Our 100% natural hardwood pellets can be used in any device that uses all natural hardwood pellets. We only test the pellets in our Traeger and can't say how they will work. I would recommend checking with your owner's manual or support site for your product and see what they recommend. You can learn more about pellets in the support page on traeger.com.
A: Wood Pellets wouldn't be much different than a stick they might find, but why would would they want to eat it is another question I guess? I seen a dog one time that loved to chew up beer cans, same question then, why?
A: Please see this link: https://ourfitpets.com/health/digestive-system/my-dog-ate-traeger-pellets-what-should-i-do/ I claims to be reviewed by a vet and says that although the pellets are non-toxic, they may make your dog sick and can cause other issues depending on how much they ate.
A: Our pellets are 100% all natural hardwood. However, I would still recommend asking your vet before letting your dog eat the pellets.
