Handy shelf

You have to get this.
Sooo worth it! It looks smaller in the picture, but it is the perfect size. I use it every time I cook. It's essential. You'll kick yourself if you don't get it.

MUST HAVE, but needs bumpers!
This really is a MUST HAVE. Only thing I do NOT like about it is that there are NO BUMPERS for when the shelf is folded down. So if you slam it in to the legs of your Traeger you'll probably dent it or scratch it. SO far I've been very careful when I fold it down for storage. I imagine that I'll start to see some wear spots in the next few months of use or when someone else in the house uses it and doesn't take care of it as much as I do.

Button head screws/grill side model 885
I like the shelf & its folding system. The only thing I would change is the grill side screws. I replaced mine with 4 button head cap screws & SS lock washers, as I'm not a fan of phillips head for this type of fastening. See pic

Pass on this. More trouble than worth.
shelf works. HOWEVER:
- makes cover extremely dififcult to get on and off.
- clearance between lid and shelf is minimal. you have to clear off the shelf to open/ close the lid.
I do not recommend, would be better to just have a small table nearby.
