Can liquid nail or another adhesive be used to install this.

Thank you for your question. You could use liquid nails but we do recommend the screws that are included to ensure the longevity of the product.

Yes, if you don't finish the wood it will quickly stain and spot, and will rot out where it has become wet.

Product was not what I ordered. It was not color matched to the flooring. Was not even stained or finished. Bare wood. Sent them back. Will try to match at other home improvement store.

I installed one of the Tile to Laminate transitions. Couldn't...
I installed one of the Tile to Laminate transitions. Couldn't get it ti work with the snap-in track. Ended up countersinking longer screws thru the wood into concrete with different anchors.
