measurements are off
I bought three of these and they were all short. They are more like 5 1/4 x 7 1/4, but all of them were all different sizes.

Glad I could get a smaller size.
Needed a pad for a rug that was 5 x 8 and I'm glad I found this so I wasn't wasting a lot of material. I've used this brand before and the carpet still feels nice and cushiony underfoot 5 years later. Doesn't stick to the floor and leave gummy residue like some rubber backed products.

Pad is easy to cut using ordinary scissors. As advertised, it's made of recycled material, so you'll see bits of cardboard mixed in with the chopped up foam bits. It will shed a bit after you cut it to size. It's not technically anti-slip, but it doesn't appear to slide very much on my hardwood floor. There are more expensive pads that have an anti-slip side and are made with nicer material, but not likely that they cushion your steps much better if at all. At this price point it's a 5 star buy.

We use the padding for carpet that we bought for a room that we renovated for our One year old to have a play room and then area to learn to walk. As many know when they are learning to walk they fall a lot. So this padding gave us the comfort that we needed that when she fell the impact was going to give her some type of cushion and she wouldn't hurt herself. So far she's taking 10 steps and she has not hurt herself not 1 time out of the 100 times she has fallen. Great product great padding.
