Hello Adj, Thank you for your question. Anniston Oak can be installed on stairs and it is recommended that you glue down and or pin nail the laminate to the stairs for safety. Please contact our customer support team at 888-864-4520 if you have any further questions. Best regards, Factory Rep.

Where can I find a matching stair tread?

Asked by JT February 18, 2021

Answer

Hello JT, Thank you for your question. There is no matching stair tread for the Russet Hickory, only stair nose, which can be purchased at the Home Depot website. For more information on installing laminate on stairs please contact our customer support team at 888-864-4520. Best regards, Factory Rep.

Answer

Hello Sue, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend applying glue to the joints of the Anniston Oak laminate or applying a sealer, as this will prevent the floor from floating as it's designed to be and could cause buckling over time. For more information please contact our customer support team at 888-864-4520. Best regards, Factory Rep.

Can this flooring me installed over glue-down low pile carpet (in basement)?

Asked by JMack February 9, 2021
1
Answer

Hello JMack, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend installing Anniston Oak over low pile carpet as it is not supportive enough for a laminate installation. It is always best practice to remove the existing floor and install the laminate over the subfloor with laminate underlay. Best regards, Factory Rep.

can this floor be washed

Asked by sonny January 6, 2021

Answer

Hello Sonny, Thank you for you for question. For daily cleaning Anniston Oak use a dust mop or vacuum with hard surface attachment to remove dust, loose dirt or debris. For more thorough cleaning, where a cleaning solution may be required, please use a water-based laminate floor cleaner. Alternatively, you can make your own cleaner by combining 1 cup of vinegar to 1 gallon of warm water, or 1/3 cup of ammonia to 1 gallon of warm water. To remove stubborn stains, dip a cotton cloth into acetone (nail polish remover) and gently rub the stained area. Best regards, Factory Rep.

The floor is beautiful, great color and natural wood pattern. Installation: the floor man said it clicked well and he had minimal issues with the flooring itself. Sturdiness: We started seeing major scratches in this floor within 1 week. We do not wear shoes on the floor and have pads on almost everything. I am doubtful it will have a long lasting life if it scratches this easily. We installed over 3000 sq feet of this floor in our building.

Adds home value
Very pleased with Trafficmaster previous projects, and have started new home off with updated flooring, replaced cheap contractor grade carpet. Not a fan of carpet as it is impossible to keep looking new with heavy foot traffic, kids, dog, and everyday wear. This flooring looks as the day we put it down. We installed 600sq ft in the upstairs bedrooms, and Master bedroom in the lower level. Easy install, be gentle, it will chip.

Excellent flooring at a great price.
We had the Anniston Oak flooring installed in our family room 2 years ago and it still looks new today. We like it so much that we decided to replace all carpet the house now. We actually purchased an entire pallet of this flooring to complete the project. It looks great, feels great, quality is good, and installation is simple. You don’t need to be a pro to put down this flooring. We install the flooring ourselves and it typically takes less than a day to do one room. Yes you need the right tools to make the cuts but once you are set up and ready to go it’s like building LEGO’s. Also notice the Anniston Oak flooring is Made In Germany, some of the other styles of the same brand flooring are not. You can’t go wrong at this price per foot.

Nice Flooring for a Value Price
First, know that I am usually picky about flooring. I am usually not a fan of Laminate. Made in Germany (higher off gas standards), this is a great flooring product. it's more grey than the photos read, and feels like vinyl under foot, but otherwise you would never know this was an inexpensive option. i highly recommend it.

Nice and Warm look -Anniston Oak 7 MM
I had been wanting to install laminate in my home for over five years. So, from time to time, I would pick up samples at Home Depot but would put them away as only a dream. So, once I was ready to move forward, I did the same thing by getting more samples. As faith would have it, each time, the Anniston Oak was included and it is the one I decided on. I had this laminate installed in most of the rooms in my home (3 bedrooms, three closets, living room, and hallways) in two phases. Now that it is completed, it is BEAUTIFUL to me. I am glad I finally did it and Anniston Oak was destine to be the flooring of choice.

Excellent choice to transform any home!
After pondering for many weeks, I chose Anniston Oak to install in a 2900 sq ft rental property to replace carpet. I didn't remove the existing tile so I had to find something that would transition well. This was an excellent choice and completely transformed the whole feel of the house. Like paint, the color changes depending on the time of day. It's somewhat of a taupe/gray/brown tone. It's modern but not trendy. Great for a rental or main home.
