I love this floor, I can’t believe it’s discontinued! I installed the floor as part of my mother’s bathroom renovation, and it came out beautiful! Everyone thought it was real tile, especially because of the grout lines. It was very easy to install, cut, and grout! It’s a shame it is discontinued, please bring it back!

I bought 4 boxes of this tile for a laundry room. The tiles look nicer than the typical vinyl and appear like more expensive ceramic, especially when grouted. I cut them down to 6x24 planks fairly easily by scoring and snapping them in half. The finished edges are beveled slightly, so if you're going to cut them know that the cut edge won't look the same (this wasn't an issue for me since I was going to cover the edges with grout anyways). I'm very pleased with the finished product and would buy again.

Must read, its long but worth reading if you’re considering this tile! I purchased this Coastal Grey vinyl tile online without seeing it in person, based on reviews and pictures. It is a little lighter than thought, not super dark gray, but still liked it. They are thick tiles and I love the feel of them. Now, as far as installing them. We did it ourselves in our small kitchen. We had to lay new ¼ inch subflooring over the existing floor that had glue residue from the old linoleum we removed. So with that nailed down we made sure to remove debris and laid the tiles leaving 1/8 spacing for grout. The tiles are easy to cut with a utility knife. The glue was excessive and got EVERYWHERE. You could pick up your tools just by touching them after 3 tiles and that was just by touching the corners to lay them down. We had to stop a couple times and clean our hands. The boxes of tile went right from my car to the house so they were not left outside in warm temperatures. But yes, the glue was on the sides of the tiles/paper right out of the box. After they were all down I used Goof Off and cleaned the glue off the tiles. Then I went right on to grouting. I opted for the silver pre-mixed grout. I had never grouted before, and probably should have tried this in a closet or something instead of my kitchen. Live and learn. Once I got the hang of it, it was ok. I only did a little at a time because it dries really fast and you have to get that off the tiles. I tried using a sponge but I couldn’t master that as it kept leaving streaks even after rinsing so I ended up actually using paper towels, lots of them. The grout left some haze in some spots that I cleaned up the next day with some cleaner. I was very please, grout looked great. Fast forward a month…it cracked and it was dirty, like black lines. When I thought it was just dirt and tried to clean it, it was glue. The glue came up between the tile and grout, cracking the grout, yea, and its mostly in the center and by the sink (the most heavily traveled areas). I removed the glue and am keeping an eye on it to see if more glue comes up and will probably end up re-grouting. In hindsight I should have done the darker grout, not liking the dirty look either. THEN: we have a really small 3x5 half bath in the entry way to remodel so we did the same tile (I ordered 6 boxes to do the kitchen and both bathrooms). We left the 1/8 grout spacing. This time I used Q-tips to really clean excess glue around all the edges of the tile and let is sit for 24 hours before I grouted it. I used the dorlean gray pre-mixed grout this time because I’m not fighting that light grout again. Turned out great and no glue has come up even after setting the toilet and sink and I’m hoping it doesn’t at all since this room isn’t used very much. I will not be using this in the big bathroom however because of this issue, I’m going with sheet vinyl. I really love the look and feel of it this tile but the glue is a problem.

A year later, these tiles are VERY scratched up. Even with pads under all the furniture, they get scratched chair movement and everyday foot traffic. The tiles looked excellent when we first installed them in the kitchen (and later, in the lower-traffic bathroom). But now they look seriously scuffed up and I'm looking at how to replace. Don't waste your time with this product; you'll regret it in a year.

This product looks great even close up. I put it down in my laundry room last year and most recently in my bathroom where I wanted the tiles to match the tiles in the shower. The tiles in the laundry room still look great. I grouted both with Simple Grout (pre-mixed grout) Delorean Gray. The colors in the tile are true greys.

I installed this flooring in my small kitchen a little over a year ago, without grout. I was pleased that the tile was thicker than the kind of "peel-n-stick" tile that I had used previously in other projects. A year later, I still love the floor. It is easy to clean, everyone thinks its real tile. I was a little concerned with the tile moving over time, and the only place I can see that it has, is where it fits under the basement door, because there is no tile next it to keep it in place. But I was able to pull it up and glue it to the floor and it has been just fine ever since.

I was afraid I wouldn't like the color so I only ordered 1 box. I love it but when I went to order the rest it was sold out again. So when I went to the store they charges me $8.00 more a box. That really sucks it isn't my fault it was out of so I pay it or have a small bathroom that has 1/2 this bathroom done. So even though I am in love with the product I'm not sure I would order on line again. I am hoping the rest get here in a couple of days.

My husband installed this in our kitchen and half bath. Installation was a breeze (he used a hot blade to cut it out areas around cabinets, ect.) I hate to admit it would not recommend this floor if you have any animals and it's in a high traffic area. We have three dogs and flooring in the kitchen has white scratch it in already. Also, it is very hard to get to stay clean. The floor constantly feels dirty and any mark you see on it immediately. One mistake we made is relying on the adhesive on the tile. We made sure that the surface under where the floor was going was free of dust and debris and less then a month later the edges were starting to stick up and the grout broke. I would recommend using an additional adhesive so it doesn't happen to you. The flooring in our half bath looks great because it is not used that often. I don't really like to complain about products and it's beautiful but we will be ripping this out and replacing it with tile.

            Great Product
These tiles are an outstanding product. They are by far the easiest way to breathe life into old floors. I inherited a tiny kitchen in New York City with an outdated linoleum floor. Tearing it up and replacing it with ceramic was prohibitively expensive. In a few hours, these tiles gave me a brand new floor that updates the entire space. I opted not to bother with grout -- it's such a tiny space that the extra effort didn't seem worth it. I couldn't be happier with the results. (See before and after pictures.) I've also used these tiles for the bottom of a closet. Looking forward to using them in my next project!

            Rental Redo
I absolutely love my floors. I used these in a rental and did the living-room, kitchen, two baths and a utility for around $1,000. They look awesome. My only complaint SOME of the tiles were SUPER STICKY, almost gross. When I picked up my order from Home Depot I noticed there was two different color boxes, and the ones in the white boxes were SUPER STICKY the glue was all over the edges of very tile and it was a pain to lay the tile because the glue was so incredibly sticky we had to stop and and clean our hands repeatedly to TRY to get the glue off. It was really bad. Other than that. I love the look and the feel of the tile.

            So far so good
We started installing this flooring in our kitchen last weekend and are every pleased so far. After tiling a bathroom in our house, we decided we didn't want to deal with the mess again and wanted something more durable. It's also a lot flatter than tile so it sits flush with our laminate flooring in teh rest of the house. The Ceramica floors are very easy and quick to install. We did get A LOT of the adhesive on our hands while installing (even though we tried our hardest not to), but used Goo Gone to remove it. We plan to install the rest of the flooring this weekend and grout it. Love them!

            Really impressed with this tile!
This tile is pretty amazing stuff. Nobody that I've talked with in any of the tile stores had ever heard of grouting vinyl and were all skeptical, am I ever glad I didn't listen to them! I laid in a good underlayment, the tile stuck great and zero issues. The grout went in really easy and wiped off with minimal hassle and no scratches to the tile. I've had multiple people not able to tell that this tile is vinyl and not ceramic. I'm really impressed so far. The hardest part is to ensure that your subfloor is level prior to installing to keep the lines as straight as possible.

Nice product at a good price point
This tile was easy to install and worked well as a ceramic substitute since I didn't want to spend a ton on supplies and replace subflooring. About a month in now, and it is wearing well, including the grout. While looking at samples in the store, another customer/floor installer told me to use a VCT adhesive to ensure there was no peeling. I think that was good advice, although I have NOT installed with just the adhesive backing. I had to purchase a vinyl grout at a competitor because it was not available at HD, but the combination is great. Applying the VCT beforehand, this installation and grouting took approximately a workday for a 17x12 space. I haven't quite finished the kitchen, but I can follow up with final pics when I do.

              Beautiful Floor
I bought this flooring sight unseen based on reviews. The color was a little lighter than I expected but still beautiful. I had laid vinyl tile before but never with grouting. It was pretty easy. The trick to cutting is a sharp blade and score from the top. I used a small set of channel lock pliers to help with intricate cuts. It took me most of the day to lay the tile and about two hours to grout and clean up. I went with a light color sanded grout to make the tiles pop.

Wonderful tile! Easy to install and looks fabulous.
We are new homeowners and had not installed any type of tile previously. We bought the tile to install in a bathroom and utility room. The installation process went incredibly smoothly and quickly. We did run into a little issue in the utility room. The previous tile had some ridges and the vinyl tiles would not stick. We used Henry 356 Vinyl adhesive and it then stuck perfectly. We chose to grout the tile and did so with Delorean Grey Simple Grout. It looks great!! I would highly recommend this product. It looks just like real ceramic tile.

              Excellent for beginner DIY-er
I absolutely love this tile. I installed in my bathroom (about 30 sf) myself. I installed it right overtop the old peel-and-stick tile, and used the recommended pre-mixed Simple Grout in Alabaster. It looks absolutely beautiful! I found it easiest to use an exacto knife to score the tiles (don't try to cut all the way through), then snap. This was easy for straight lines, but for curves, I recommend using pliers to gently bend and crack the tile all along the score line before snapping it completely off. I broke a few tiles along curves due to impatience. The pliers will really help save your fingers too! I used a 1/8" grout line but ended up not using the spacers very much. And, of course, make sure you buy extra... I had exactly enough for the room, and messed up a cut, so I had to order an entire case for that one tile. Just save yourself the headache and buy extra.

              Love it!
I love how this floor looks in our bathroom! It easily went over the 80's linoleum that was originally laid down and transformed the room. Be sure you are always using a sharp blade when making custom cuts, as the top can tear and become ragged looking.

              Some very important tips
You absolutely MUST follow the directions. We installed this on an above grade, concrete floor. Our house was built in 1977 and at some point a tar base adhesive was used on the floor. This stuff is called "cutback" and it stains the concrete and is also absorbed into the cement. So, it must be encapsulated or it will react with the adhesive on the back of the tiles and you will have problems. We used a skim coat of Henry's Feather-finish to encapsulate the residue. After that was completely dry, we sanded any high spots, and vacuumed thoroughly. We primed with Henry's 336 Bond Enhancer, and used Simple grout (pre-mixed) in Natural Gray. I used a plastic putty knife to push the grout into the spaces, but it appears that the gout actually marred the surface of the tiles in some areas. So, I would suggest another method for that. You must only do a small area of grouting (like just a couple of feet) and then remove all of the excess grout completely and immediately with a wet sponge. You'll need to change water frequently. I actually used two buckets.

                Love my new floor!
I bought these tiles because I liked the look of ceramic, however I didn't want to have to replace doors that I had recently replaced because of the thickness of them. These tiles did the job and over exceeded my expectations. They were easy to cut with just a utility knife. They do scratch easily, but because of the design of the tile it is hardly noticeable. If you are moving stuff on them just be careful. We also used glue, just because we were sanding the walls the night before and were afraid they might not stick because of the dust we couldn't get off of the floor. Because of this extra step it took us longer to do, but in total 6 hours to lay them down, with a few breaks in between. I liked the look so much I've decided to extend them into my hallways and kitchen. I showed a co-worker and she also installed the Traffic Master Ceramica 12x12 Sage tile in her kitchen.

                Stop considering it--just buy!
After purchasing our new home this summer, we won't have the funds available to fully renovate our 90s-era kitchen for a while. However, the hideous checkerboard floor was something I couldn't live with, and we decided to go the peel & stick tile route. Well this product totally exceeded my expectations for our "temporary fix". The 12" x 24" size gives the tile a very modern look, and we were able to install it in a herringbone pattern for an extra style edge. All of our friends were shocked at the housewarming party that (1) I had installed the floor myself in an evening, (2) it wasn't "real tile", and (3) just how durable and comfortable it is to walk on. I have 3 small children and pets, and this material is ideal for their heavy traffic. We've had it installed for about 2 months now in the busiest room of the house, and it is still looking great (despite all the rain and mud we've had recently).

                Ok, but...
Everything started out great with this tile, and then it went downhill from there. First off, the Home Depot employee that helped me at the store recommended the Simple Grout Non-Sanded Grout. After laying all the tile, and grouting and cleaning up, a whole day of work...it ended up cracking the very next day. Next up, scraping out all of the grout and putting in Sanded Grout...this will work right? WRONG, after only a couple of weeks there are once again cracks and some of the grout has even cracked so bad that it has come out. On top of all of this, the tile scuff VERY easily, so do not install this if you have any pets! Overall, it looked beautiful for the first couple weeks and now we are left wondering what to do.

                Getting lots of compliments!
If your on a budget and want your floor to look amazing, buy this. This was purchased for a large bathroom and I used the suggested delorean gray grout and everyone is shocked to find out its vinyl. I saw comments about needing a special tool to break it. I used a box cutter and it snapped clean everytime. I used a pliers at times to gently break the vinyl for curved or tight cuts (door frames, corners, the toilet). They do stick very well but make sure the floor is very clean. I put this right on top of the existing vinyl sheet flooring. I wiped the old floor down with alcohol after cleaning it and waited 24 hrs before i put the tile down. It looks wonderful and I highly reccomend this product
