A:  1-2 pounds of the infill should be spread per square foot. The more foot traffic the turf will be getting the more infill is recommended.

    A:  That's an interesting question. The purpose of the infill is to fill the voids in the artificial turf to make the blades of grass stand up. This is coated to prevent the absorption of dog urine, and works very well. We would just hose off the turf in the areas he peed every day, and it would clean off and drain through the gravel bed below the turf with no residual smells. Grass needs dirt, not gravel, so I don't know that it would give the same results.

      A:  Spread the infill evenly across the top of the turf, 1-2 pounds per square foot, and brush in with a stiff bristle broom or mechanical brush.

        A:  I have this next to my pool area on artificial grass. I have never seen it on anyone’s feet or in the pool. Hope that helps!

          A:  When the infill is first put in it may get tracked out, but once it settles it should not get tracked out of the turf. To get the infill to settle you can brush and water it in when installing.

            Green Infill
            I used this infill for a small, 120 square foot artificial turf lawn. Per the instructions, I applied about 1 pound per square foot. Rather than using a drop spreader, I drilled about 100 or so, 1/4" holes in the bottom of one of the buckets and let the sand infill sift out of the bucket across the turf. This process took about 20 minutes to cover the entire lawn with 11 buckets of fill. I followed up by raking the infill into the turf and it looks great.
