Can this be used on a concrete floor in a covered screened in porch?
Asked by Dave May 5, 2020What they don't tell you is located in the fine print. It does need a moisture barrier or adhesive if your concrete hydrostatic pressure exceeds 6 lbs and/or 90% RH. These must be tested with an approved Calcium Chloride or In Situ probe test. I saw all of these comments and "official" answers and even the Home Depot employee said you don't need anything under the planks. It is an easy way to deny all warranty claims since how many people can actually prove they had these test results at the time of installation. Lesson learned: if it sounds too good (convenient) to be true, it probably is.

do i need any underlay to apply first before applying this vinyl plank flooring
Asked by Step April 14, 2020It has a built in underlayment that takes care of all minor imperfections but if you have a really bad floor you might think about using a solid underlayment like plywood underlayment for floors.
Can I move furniture on it while installing large sections at a time?
Asked by Rob November 10, 2019Yes, thats what we had to do. Just be careful on using normal methods to get the joints seated, too far and it puckers up at the joint, and its easy to catch or ship on. There is a reason this stuff is 1/2 the price of the next closest competitor.
is there a desire or requirement for adhesive?
Asked by dinks March 23, 2020No, definitely not. This is a full floating floor that needs to expand and contract with temperature changes.
